May this be an offering, not a performance. May it rise from truth, not fear. May I be guided not by outcome, but by integrity. May I release all grasping and pour only what is real. May this serve even one heart—and let that be enough. May I remember: I am not selling. I am devoting. May I be unattached to who comes, who buys, who claps. May this be a sacred act of remembering who I am.
Monday Jul 21, 2025
This morning I got up, showered, dressed and out the door before 8 am, which almost never happens. But I had a good reason for it– I got my IUD removed! Ha, you know I don’t believe in TMI and ot be honest the reason I’m getting it removed is because it made my periods so horribly heavy, long and painful. I put up with it for 5 years until a friend’s 17-year-old daughter got one put in and had a similar reaction and they immediately had it removed because she shouldn’t have to suffer like that. Wait, what? I don’t have to suffer? OH MY GOD. So, now it’s Mattie’s turn ✂️
- Stopped at a Japanese bakery on my way home for an Okinawa brown sugar matcha latte with an egg custard tart (so good!) and back home by 9:20. Quick check in with Mattie and got our home organizer set up in the kid’s room today to help me wrangle that disaster. I fully recognize the immense privilege I have in being able to afford help like this AND if you also have the means, I can’t recommend more getting household help for the things that drive you crazy but you can’t (or don’t want to) keep up with yourself. It’s been a huge weight off my shoulders, helps me avoid screaming at my family for their mess, gives me back my time to do other things besides constantly cleaning up after people, whether that’s working or resting or playing.
Going through my morning start-up ritual with my Toby tabs, which look a bit different these days since I’ve been automating so much more of my tracking with amazing Airtable bases:

I’m thinking of selling my Daily Sales Tracker base… is that something y’all would want to create for yourself? Here’s a sneak peak of my interface today:

-
Spent 15 minutes brainstorming with Mildred (what I’ve named my ChatGPT) for what I could contribute to 2 summits I want to apply to. Delegated the rest to Rachel to actually apply.
-
Looking at my list for this week, which is going to be pretty hectic as I’m going out of town next week for 4 days for the Females on Fire conference, plus we’ve got a lot of doctor’s appointments for Jackie this week as he’s getting some evaluations done at Emory, plus we’re starting PMT (basically therapist-led coaching for parents of neurodivergent kiddos to better equip us) and he’s got OT. And school starts back in 2 weeks (OMG where did summer go?!). So just acknowledging that I’m carrying a lot right now and I want to make sure I carve out time to care for myself this week amidst all the chaos:
-
Write Bot Squad sales page copy + hand off to Jayce
-
Choose GIDW theme (AI Your Inbox) + prep assets
-
Turn on ads to Launch Lab
-
Inbox Insights
-
Write the WSL
-
Write the Income Report for June.
-
Blog Posts: choose ONE to finish + publish by end of week. Don’t touch the rest until you ship the first.
-
Record Aligned AI presentation
-
Update Fri-YAY sales emails (Kartra links + coupon codes)
-
Wrap my head around how I want to design Airtable base for tracking important biz metrics and sales funnel conversion rates, including ad funnels (Growify? Uniquery?)
-
Create Airtable member bases for Launch Lab + $1k/Day Experiment
-
Spend time in AI tools/playbooks from Rick’s AI membership that is the best thing I’ve joined in a LONG time
-
Blast out podcast pitches
Alright, I organized that by priority and days of the week because I’m still following my batched schedule really closely… as a reminder it looks like this:
🗂 Monday – Admin + Ads + Emails 📞 Tuesday – Client Calls + Coaching Delivery ✍️ Wednesday – Deep Work + Writing 🧪 Thursday – Tech Playground Day 🎉 Friday – Play + Flex
Alright, I needed to send Rachel a check-in Voxer about the next couple of weeks and make sure we’re on the same page for our promo/email calendar for the rest of the summer and what I want to do in terms of flash sales and more AI and GPTs in our programs. Super excited about this! Here’s where I landed:

Whew, that was a lot of just catching up, Voxing back and forth about some outstanding things with a few folks and planning out the next few weeks. But I feel super clear and excited about everything now. So here’s what I want to get done in the next 2 hours before I have Jackson’s appointment:
- Write Bot Squad sales page copy + hand off to Jayce
- Choose GIDW theme (AI Your Inbox) + prep assets
- Turn on ads to Launch Lab
To start… I’m going to take a quick lunch break and come back with fresh eyes and a freshly fueled brain ;) Thai green curry with tofu from Trader Joe’s (duh) and a Diet Dr. Pepper. Heaven! Threw in a quick load of towels and sheets too when I noticed the cats has puked on our white duvet cover (AGAIN!). Lovely.
Alright, time to write the bot squad sales page. Moved to the couch with Ferg and my fave blanket to get cozy and work!
I thought it might be helpful for me to share my process of how I write sales pages using AI, so I recorded a quick Loom for you here.
Creating Compelling Sales Pages with AI ✍️ - Watch Video

Alright now it’s time to prep my assets for our next Get it Done Week.
Finished just in time, now hopping onto my son’s doctor’s appointment for the next couple hours. Got a wonderful village helping us out with a neighbor picking this kids up from camp and then another friend letting Gem come over for a few hours while I take Jackson to OT since Matt is on deadline tonight. Grateful for our people.
Off the call. Wow, that was a lot. 2.5 hours of answering really tedious questions about your child. Things I’d never even thought about before. Very emotionally exhausting, though oddly not anxiety-producing. Just a lot. Kids are home from camp now, going to drop Gem off at her friend’s house and then I was supposed to take Jackson to his OT appointment, but it got moved til tomorrow, so I promised him I would play soccer with him in our backyard.
Back inside from soccer (so hot, omg!) and cooling off on the couch under the fan playing the Bluey game with him on the Nintendo Switch.
Jackson is playing Minecraft with his cousins in California now (we don’t normally allow Youtube or handheld devices on weekdays, but we’re making an exception because his cousins were busy on Sunday and I feel bad for him that he’s home alone while his sister is with her friend and his OT, which he is obsessed with, got canceled. I’m scrolling my phone. #momoftheyear
And actually I’m mostly talking to my bookkeeper on Voxer because, here’s a fun (read: rage-inducing) discovery I made last month: nearly $8k in customer payments from my Kartra checkout were accidentally routed to a PayPal account I no longer control, as it’s tied to a business I sold years ago. The buyer has been quietly pocketing my sales and is refusing to cooperate with me and return the misappropriated funds, even though what she’s doing is illegal and in direct violation of our contract.
I’m currently brainstorming with my broker, lawyer, and bookkeeper to figure out the cleanest way to resolve this—ideally in a way that doesn’t disrupt my customers or my nervous system. This is one of those real business behind-the-scenes moments no one warns you about. I’ll share the full story soon once I’ve got a clear path forward, but for now… deep breaths, lots of tea, and a few colorful expletives.
Walking Fergus up the street to pick up Gem and wound up chatting with the mom, who has quickly become a good friend of mine, for half an hour while the girls played. They are so cute together and we just found out they’ll be in the same kindergarten class this year, so I’m super excited! Got the kids home, made them dinner, reheated my left over Chipotle and then passed them off to Mattie at 8:30 after he met his work deadline to do bedtime.
Mattie and I started watching Atypical on Netflix and really liking it so far. We watch a few episodes together, debrief a bit about his work project and the doctor’s appointment we had today and then head up to bed around 11. Started reading my new book and fell asleep.
Tuesday, Jul 22, 2025
Woken up by Gemma begging for the Cinnamon Rolls I bought with her at Trader Joe’s over the weekend. Up, “baking”, packing lunches, getting the kids ready for camp.
Walk the kids to camp with the dog (2 birds, 1 seed), and then go for another 20 minutes after we drop the kids. Get home and I’ve been doing these 10-minute weight lifting workouts on Youtubethis month, followed by 10-15 minutes of my fave stretching videos (which also double as my meditation time) for a nice morning movement routine. Feels so good!
Made a quick protein and electrolyte smoothie and now heading to Kroger to grab a couple quick groceries we’re out of and pick up a prescription.
Back home, cleaning up a few things around the house and then sitting down to catch up on this diary before diving back into work.
Starting my morning start-up ritual in Toby.
Looking at my to do list for today:
- Inbox Insights
- Turn on ads to Launch Lab (didn’t get to this yesterday)
- Host the Room call
- Co-host the Legal Workshop with my friend Liz Stapleton (it’s not too late to join)
- Mastermind call
Alright, so first, I’m going to respond to Inbox Insights. Then, I need to go shower and get ready for all my calls, then I’m going to come back and work on ads until the Room call.
Getting ready, listening to Systems Saved Me guest podcast takeovers. Really loved Sarah and Justin’s episodes. Wound up talking with Mildred about how to clean my bath pillow, which is disgustingly pink with mildew, while I did my makeup and then popped it in the washing machine with some detergent and bleach. Called the vet to schedule a thyroid lab check for my kitties, too. Then took the dog out and got the mail before coming back into sit down at my desk.
Took a few minutes prepping for the Room call and responding to some tasks in CU with my contractors. Wound up not working on ads before my calls because a) I wasn’t in the mood (oops) and b) I got distracted with a payment issue in Kartra for the $1k/Day Experiment, which is a quarterly membership. But we found that 80 of our members actually only paid once and aren’t set up as a subscription. Ah! How did I do that?! So Rachel and I are trying to figure out how to fix and manage this issue without losing members.
Room call. This week’s Room call was exactly the kind of business church that makes me so damn grateful to have created this space. We had powerful aha moments around imposter syndrome, feedback fears, and decision paralysis—stuff every entrepreneur secretly struggles with.
Here are some of the biggest takeaways from the call (that you can steal for your own biz):
✅ Action creates clarity. Stop obsessing over the “perfect” platform, offer, or funnel. Pick something and go. You’re not defusing a bomb here. If it’s not right, you’ll pivot later.
✅ Let them. Worried what friends, family, or strangers will say about your new offer? Let them say whatever they want. They’re not paying your bills. Your job isn’t to convert haters; it’s to reach the one person who needs what you’re sharing.
✅ Negative feedback ≠ failure. Even Beyoncé gets 1-star reviews. The more you put yourself out there, the more you’ll encounter criticism. That doesn’t make you a fraud—it means it’s working. You can’t please everyone—and that’s not the goal anyway.
✅ Future You can handle it. Trust that if something doesn’t work, you’ll figure it out. You always have.
This Room call was a beautiful mix of strategy, mindset coaching, and raw honesty. If you’re not in The Room yet, consider this your sign.
Mastermind call.
Off my mastermind call. Dang! It was so good. This week’s Weird Hermit meeting turned into a full-on nerd-out session about memberships, launch energetics, and… ex-boyfriends who suck. (Because of course it did.)
My biggest ah-ha from the call: I realized I’ve been trying to “fix” my membership churn by fiddling with pricing, but maybe the problem isn’t pricing at all. Maybe it’s time to double down on retention strategies like juicy bonuses, annual upgrade pushes, and automations that run triggered by various behaviors of our Roomies (ie. automated “we’ll miss you” win-back campaigns.)
The mindset stuff that comes up with running memberships and churn is real, but I’m learning from my fellow hermits how to be more detached. Members will come and go—your job is to create a sticky offer and let them decide. Desperation repels. Confidence converts. The common theme? Simplify, test, and let data—not feelings—decide your next move.
We also had a juicy side convo about pivoting audiences (hello, corporate consulting) and licensing programs. This call gave me life. There’s something about sharing the messy, behind-the-scenes stuff with women who get it that makes this whole rollercoaster ride feel worth it.
Went to go see my son in the living room as he quietly came home from camp and was watching TV and I didn’t even realize he was back yet. Got in some good snuggles before he left for OT with my husband. I spent some time editing an email Rachel had sent me to review as she’s starting to write a weekly email about what’s happening in the Room.
This ended up spurring a SUPER helpful conversation between the two of us about delegating copywriting your business, which is very tricky to do. I went outside on my front porch with Ferg while Rach and I voxed back and forth about this, whether she’s a co-writer or a ghost writer (i.e. writing as me in my exact voice), whether she needs to learn some new copy skills and if that’s the best use of our time, whether it helps/hurts my biz and sales to have emails coming from someone other than me (in the past it really did), etc. So grateful for our relationship that we can have these really open, vulnerable conversations and she is never defensive, always receptive and we just collab and communicate so well.
Saw that my ads membership got back to me with graphics and copy (they even created new ones for me in Canva and wrote me alternative ad options!! Omg cannot believe this level of support!), so I watched their Loom critique and made some mental notes about what I want to update tomorrow when I start running these ads.
Uploading my mastermind transcript to ChatGPT so I can make a checklist of ideas to give Rachel about Room retention ideas I want to implement and now putting it into ClickUp for her.
I’m honestly not sure where the next hour went… I looked up and time had passed, what did I do? I don’t even know, lol.
Updating some links in my promo emails that are going out tonight from the Legal Workshop and the membership swap I’m doing with a Mixermind friend.
Family back home, going to go spend some time with them now until bed time. Cooked dinner, put laundry away, watched Vivo and snuggled on the couch. At bedtime, Jackie’s been obsessed with talking to us about college ever since we drove through Matt’s alma mater campus 2 weeks ago. It’s so cute!
Back down stairs, mindlessly scrolling on my phone for a bit before getting back to work. I almost never work at night, but I’ll be at the doc with Jackson for 4 hours tomorrow and between that and being out of office most of next week, I want to get a bit more done tonight before calling it quits.
Wrote the last call email for Liz’s legal bundle template, which is $200 off with my link.
Email done. Alright I think I’m good for tonight. Gonna head upstairs to get ready for bed and read my book. Got an early morning tomorrow!

An early start this morning as we’ve got to get to Emory for Jackson’s evaluation. Got everyone up, dressed, fed and out the door by 7:25.
Arrived at Emory, got Jackson all checked in and now Matt and I are sitting in a room next door watching him on a baby monitor. We brought our laptops, but right now I’m just drinking my coffee, eating a bagel and watching my brave, beautiful boy.
I keep thinking about a question Monica asked me yesterday during our mastermind about how many people pay full price for the Room each month and how much has that number grown? I need to look at the data, so I asked Orion (Airtable’s AI) to analyze the data for me and here’s what they reported:
September 2024 - 4
October 2024 - 9
November 2024 - 12
December 2024- 15
January 2025 - 11
February 2025 - 15
March 2025 - 24
April 2025 - 26
May 2025 - 28
June 2025 - 26
In September 2024, only 4 people were paying full price. By June 2025, I’m up to 26 people. ✅ That’s 6.5x growth in 9 months. ✅ I’m adding an average of ~2.4 new full-price payers per month.
This shows that my pipeline is working. Even with churn and trials, I’m steadily increasing my base of full-price members. But not by much. There’s definitely room to strengthen stickiness and avoid seasonal dips.
The $7 trial + upgrade model is delivering, but there’s still probably a “leaky bucket” of trial people who don’t convert. So, I think I’ve likely hit the “early adoption” curve. Future growth may slow unless I:
- Push annual plans harder.
- Increase front-end volume (ads, partners).
- Build more “I can’t leave” habits for members.
- Could I create a mid-month retention booster to catch the people likely to cancel before month 2?
I wanted to look at the $7 trial sign ups more closely, too.
November 2024 - 5 December 2024 - 1 January 2025 - 13 February 2025 - 22 March 2025 - 37 April 2025 - 40 May 2025 - 27 June 2025 - 29 July 2025 - 22
Hmm, so while the absolute number of $97 members increased from 4 in September 2024 to a peak of 28 in April-June 2025, their percentage of total membership has decreased due to a faster growth in trial memberships.
📈 Key Trends
- Early Days: All Full-Price Members (Sept–Oct 2024)
- $97 members were 100% of your base.
- No trial offers = small numbers, but “clean” recurring revenue.
- Trials Introduced (Nov 2024)
- $7 members start appearing, but $97 members are still dominant (71% full-price).
- This is the start of my lead gen machine.
- Trial Surge + Shifting Ratios (Jan–Apr 2025)
- By March–April, trials made up 60%+ of the membership. The ratio flipped: most people were in trial mode, not paying full price.
- This is when churn likely began to feel emotionally heavier for me.
- Small Spring Correction (May–June)
- The ratio started to balance out again (~50/50).
- I was converting enough trial members to full price to slow the leak.
- July: Summer Slump? Or Retention Issue?
- $97 members dropped sharply to 27% (just 8 full-price members).
- $7 trial members spiked to 73% of the total.
- This suggests either: a) fewer trial upgrades last month, b) more cancellations among existing full-price members, c) or both. Plus, July may reflect summer distraction, not just funnel weakness. August data will show if this was a blip or a trend.
Alright, so I just put a bunch of ideas into a ClickUp task for Rachel as she’s in charge of Room retention now and can’t wait to see what she implements. Now it’s time to write. I’ve got a full day of writing tasks ahead of me:
- Write the WSL
- Summer of AI Flash Sale - MMM
- Turn on ads to Launch Lab
- Write the Income Report for June.
- Blog Post: Publish AI gender gap post
- Record Aligned AI presentation
- Update Fri-YAY sales emails (Kartra links + coupon codes)
Writing the WSL.
Done with the WSL. Not gonna lie, struggling to tap into my creativity being in this noisy room with so many distractions and loud noises from neighboring rooms. Reminding me why I prefer to work at home in total silence. Probably gonna need to put my headphones in and put on some lo-fi or binaural beats. Also wishing I bought a sweater, it’s freezing in here.
Email done, that took a bit longer than expected but I got really into telling this story about my Dad. I hope he doesn’t get mad about it, my family doesn’t love when I write about them, but I found this one so endearing that I hope he will appreciate it. And perfect timing, Jackson’s session just wrapped up an hour early and we’re headed home.
Going to let him nap before going back to camp because he is mentally wiped from that. So proud of my boy!
Back home, curled up with a hot coffee and my blankie on the couch to keep writing. I used to literally only work at my desktop but this past year I feel like I’m more often than not working horizontally… probably horrible for my back but much cozier for my vibe.
I need to turn on the ads for the Launch Lab. I don’t know why I’m feeling resistance to this. Probably just scared of wasting money, though I know it’s never a waste and always a learning opportunity, cheesy as that sounds. I actually have a couple follow up Qs though that I’m going to quickly pop into the membership FB group and then come back to the ads once I have an answer… sly procrastination technique, eh?
Jackson came downstairs from his nap and he’s so out of it. I’m going to let him snuggle next to me and watch TV a bit before I take him back to camp. Part of me thinks I should just keep him home all day as his doc said he worked really hard and needed to go home and do nothing. I feel that. We talked a bit about his appointment and got him some lunch. Going to work on the income report next.
Taking a mini lunch break and just bouncing around between a few different emails and Voxer messages…definitely not the best use of my time and really making me think about how I need to reframe my breaks as true rest, not mindless scrolling or checking things on my phone.
Decided to take a real break, give my mind some space and then walked Jackson up to camp with the dog.
Time to write.
Time for therapy. On my way there and back I responded to Voxer Office Hours for this group and we have so many great questions this week!
Kids so excited to see me, which always feels good. Played Barbies with Gemma for half an hour while Matt took the dog for a walk, and then we made dinner. Grilled lemon pepper pork chops and asparagus risotto. After dinner, I went outside with the kids and played soccer and picked weeds (it’s my OCD soothing habit). Left my phone inside in another concerted effort to be more present in my life and felt so good to just be in fresh air with my kids. Came back in, played Go Fish and a round of Uno and then Gem got cranky so we went upstairs, got into our matching jammies and cuddled up to watch Bluey in my bed for a few minutes before bedtime.
Kids are in bed and I’m back downstairs, playing Solitaired on my phone in total silence, curled up with Ferg. Matt went to bed early 😔
Got my laptop out because we got 2 emails yesterday about people having issues on the checkout page for MBA. We opened up our $44/month 12-pay option only as a 1-click upsell after you buy something else and got 2 sales right away. But then sales went quiet, and after I saw those helpdesk tickets, I figured there must be a glitch. Turns out there was, I fixed it and we made 3 sales legit right away. AMAZING! Though I can’t help but wonder what we could’ve made if it had been working properly the past few weeks. Ah well, live and learn.
Upstairs to read my book and go to bed.
Feeling some thoughts about how low this number is, and my 30-day average only being $410, but also reminding myself that the summer slump is real, especially as so many in my audience are parents with limited childcare and time during June-August and that it always comes back around. I can trust my systems.

Woke up in a funk, feeling down. Went outside on the porch with Ferg, no phone, and just sat and stared at the sky for a while. Trying to reduce the constant input and stimulation I have as I’ve been really feeling addicted to my phone lately, even though I don’t have social media on there still.
Got dressed, back inside to finish getting the kids ready and then we went out in the backyard to play for half an hour before camp. No phone again, just being with them, having a tea party in Gem’s little playhouse, while Jackie pretended to be a “bad guy” breaking in on the roof. Not sure how to feel about it, but it was pretty funny.
Walking the kids up to camp with the dog, and after I dropped them off, we went on a long walk so I could talk to my BFF about what’s been going on this week. I really don’t know what I would do without this friendship, she gives me the most unconditional love and support I’ve ever experienced in any relationship and always has such helpful perspectives and ways of thinking about things. Doesn’t hurt that she’s one of the top therapists in NYC.
Back home and about to jump onto couples therapy. Coming at a good time. Been struggling with feeling like I’m carrying too much emotional and invisible labor in our family and our neurodivergence is clashing–Matt’s timeline for everything is sooooo slow and my OCD hates open loops. Trying to figure out how to support both of our needs and each other. So grateful for the amazing therapist we have, though I’m afraid to look at our family’s therapy bills lately between couples, both adults individual, Jackson’s psychiatry and OT, our parent management therapy… oh boy! We are in it. And it’s a season, we won’t always need this much scaffolding, but right now I’m so grateful for it.
Needed some time to process and sit with my feelings, journal, etc. after our call. Couldn’t go straight into work so I gave myself some space to just be with whatever was coming up.
Okay, time to get to work. I’ve got 4 hours until the kids are home… HOW?! And a long list of things I want to get to.
- Write the Income Report for June.
- Turn on ads to Launch Lab
- Blog Post: Publish AI gender gap post
- Record Aligned AI presentation
- Wrap my head around how I want to design Airtable base for tracking important biz metrics and sales funnel conversion rates, including ad funnels (Growify? Uniquery?)
- Create Airtable member bases for Launch Lab + $1k/Day Experiment
- Spend time in AI tools/playbooks from Rick’s AI membership that is the best thing I’ve joined in a LONG time
This process always overwhelms me a bit, even though I know I just got to start at the top and make my way down one by one, and everything that needs to get done always gets done. But I always feel like I need a break after looking at my list. So going to grab a quick lunch and then come back and finish the income report for June. I’m about halfway done.
Back to the income report.
Whew, done! **Here it is.**Need a quick brain break outside, feet in the grass. Those always take me longer to write than I think they should. Quick lunch and Friends episode for joy!
Call with my Facebook ads membership to talk about my free challenge ad that is finally profitable now and what tweaks I can make to get even better performance as I scale this. The call was 30 minutes, but I’ve been talking with Mildred about some of our analytics and making some changes to the opt-in page to increase conversions, which are only around 35%. But our tripwire is converting at 17% and the bump offer also converts at nearly 13% so it’s performing well as a funnel.
- Switched the bump offer back to the $39 price, after testing a different offer at $7 that had higher conversions but brought in less revenue overall.
- Updated the opt-inpage to increase conversions.
- Fixed the MBA upsell glitch and double checked it’s working properly now.
- Scaled my ad spend from $60/day up to $72/day per my mentor’s advice and now ready to see how the next week goes. Note: I started this at $15/day and only increased ad spend as the results started coming in.
Well, I spent a lot of time with ads, but still don’t have my Launch Lab ads running. But I need a break now and will figure out how I want to spend the last hour of my work day after I come back… I asked Matt to hang with the kids while they have their piano lessons so I could extend my workday after so many interruptions this week.
Ended up cuddling on the couch with Jackson while he watched some K Pop thing and fell asleep for a little cat nap. Felt great to get some rest. So looking at my remaining to do list… and I obviously need to turn on the Launch Lab ads of all the things. So let’s go do this.
DONE! At least the first round of testing, and I made some updates to the Launch Lab sales page that my mentor suggested. Honestly that page probably needs a total overhaul, but it’s good enough for now, so I’m going with B+ work. I’m testing 5 different graphics and 7 copy variations this round, so we’ll see what works best. I used all my own copy instead of what my mentor gave me because it felt boring. But I’m sorta curious to just test it and see if maybe it will blow all my cutesy stuff out of the water, lol. After all, they know what works. We’ll call that testing round 2.
Okay, time to shut it down for the night. I’ve had a deeply emotional week. Neurodivergent kiddo stuff, marital strain, heavy admin, and therapy on therapy. It’s been A LOT.
And I’m noticing when brain is like “let’s scroll,” that what it really wants is to dissociate for a minute. But passive input doesn’t fill the tank—it just stalls the engine while the gas leaks out the bottom. Scrolling feels like rest. But it’s not. It’s just delaying depletion. And I want to break that habit tonight and care for myself as well as I care for everyone around me. I think I’ll try to connect a bit with Mattie, and then take a bath with no phone and my book, in bed early.
I’m likely going to work a bit tomorrow due to being out all next week for the conference and fun with friends. But we’ll see how I’m feeling, I’m also getting lunch with a friend and going to another friend’s for dinner. Tata for now!

Took the day totally off work and just spent it with friends, had a long call with my Dad and got in a good workout and dog walk chatting with a friend, too.
Total Hours Worked: 18 hours Total Revenue: $1,475 Hourly Rate: $82/hour
ChatGPT Analysis:
🎯 What Went Well:
- You wrote and launched multiple sales assets (Bot Squad page, MBA emails, WSL).
- You finally turned on Launch Lab ads and are testing 7 copy + 5 graphic variations—huge.
- Resolved billing issues (MBA upsell glitch, $1k/Day billing error).
- Delegation wins with Rachel—real collab, not control disguised as teamwork.
- You protected your energy with breaks, outdoors, and friend time—even during a high-demand week.
⚠️ What Didn’t Work (or Could’ve Worked Better):
- Resistance to turning on ads dragged for 3 days. You knew you were procrastinating, but didn’t course-correct until Thursday night.
- Work time bled into evenings more than usual (Tuesday + Wednesday) which you noted isn’t your norm.
- Some friction in business systems (like the $1k/Day membership pricing issue) still need closing loops.
- Not tracking time in the moment meant some missing data and confusion (“I don’t even know what I did for that hour”).
🔥 Areas for Improvement / Coaching Recommendations:
- Time Boundaries: Protect your evenings again next week—especially ahead of your 4-day trip. Can you batch even harder Monday–Wednesday to truly unplug?
- Analytics Ownership: Your growth trends are solid. Now create a ritual (weekly?) where you look at this calmly. Patterns over panic.
- Rest Audit: Keep noticing the phone-scroll masquerading as rest. Keep a list of “real replenishment” on your desk. Reach for that.
💬 Summary in One Sentence: You moved mountains this week—emotionally and strategically—but your next edge is trusting the systems you’ve built, so you don’t have to carry everything yourself.
✨ Key Insights to Inspire:
- Your Room has grown 6.5x in full-price members in 9 months. That’s compounding. Stay the course.
- $147 days feel “low” until you realize how hands-off those sales were. That’s the point.
- You don’t need to hustle harder. You need to trust smarter.
- Delegation is working. Revenue is flowing. Even when you’re tired, the machine runs.
