🕊 Bhakti Business Blessing

May this be an offering, not a performance. May it rise from truth, not fear. May I be guided not by outcome, but by integrity. May I release all grasping and pour only what is real. May this serve even one heart—and let that be enough. May I remember: I am not selling. I am devoting. May I be unattached to who comes, who buys, who claps. May this be a sacred act of remembering who I am.

Greetings from Santa Fe, NM! In case you missed it, I took my family out here for the entire month of June for an adventure and we’ve been having truly the most divine time. It’s been so surreal, I don’t know how I'm ever going to come home.

While we’re here, I’m working hard to not work Fridays through Mondays and trying to get all my work in Tues-Thurs. So today I’m just here to give you a light report.

We spent the morning together as a family exploring different neighborhoods here and daydreaming about what life would be like.

This afternoon, Matt and I have booked ourselves for a spa day at this Japanese hot spring resort where we’re getting massages and will get a day pass to soak, steam and sauna, go into the meditation room and then have a delicious sushi dinner. To say I feel like the luckiest girl in the world is the understatement of the century.

I have never been more grateful for being my own boss, designing my work around my life in a way that lets me work from anywhere, set my own schedule and have as much time off as I do.

Today sounds dreamy, and to be sure, most of our life the past few weeks here have been. But they’ve also been hard. I’m doing a lot of deep inner work while we’re here and it’s the perfect spot for it. But it’s not fun. Being in such a beautiful, spiritual place with a slow pace of life and kind people surrounding you and Mother Nature everywhere you look helps. It’s both. The golden and.

More to report back tomorrow, which will be a busy day full of calls and prep for our big JV webinar with Jenna Kutcher next week. OMG! It’s probably the biggest thing to ever happen to this business and I’m trying to stay super grounded and go in with curiosity and zero expectations.

*This was really cool to see that we made over $1,300 in Tripwire sales from the webinar registration that Jenna was sending her people to! This is absolutely why we had such a big revenue day yesterday, but it's so cool to see that we haven't even started promoting MBA yet and already we're making money from the Tripwire funnel.

Conversion on it so far:

  • 6800 visitors
  • 2869 registrants = 42% opt-in rate
  • 14 tripwire sales = 0.5% conversion rate (YIKES! This is way too low!)
  • 10 bump offers = 72% conversion rate (WOWZA!)
  • 1 upsell = 7% conversion rate

So one thing this tells me is that I definitely need to increase the conversion rate on my tripwire sales page after registration. That might be something I work on this week, but even at that low conversion rate, it's been great to bring in over $1,300 from things that I didn't have to do anything for except set the page up!

And we even made 2 pay in full MBA sales yesterday too, which continues to affirm my belief that everything sells everything.

7 am

Woke up after a glorious 10 hours of sleep. This weekend was heavenly and also hard. Lots of processing really painful realities and emotions and I spent Fri-Sat in a very triggered child self state that made it hard to, well, function. I’m grateful for all the resources and love available to me here that helped me move through it (including ACA meetings, somatic experiencing therapy, time spent with beloved friends, complete with me curled up in the fetal position sobbing in my friend’s lap while she rubbed my back, massage and hot springs and date night with my amazing husband who I am just wildly in love with and grateful for, a new audiobook (Mother Hunger) and some hikes and time spent with my kids in mother nature).

Took it slow this morning, snuggling Gemma and Fergie in bed and giggling about how silly they both are before coming downstairs to toast some homemade sourdough a new friend in SF made for us and getting the kids ready to go to the pool with their sitter.

8:15 am

Voxer Unstuck Session with a client. Lovely way to start the day actually. She left me over 20 minutes worth of voice memos that I listened to while I made my coffee and worked on my puzzle, that I got from the best metaphysical store I’ve ever been in here in Santa Fe.

8:45 am

Ugh, I’m still having issues with bot traffic and it’s fucking up my Convertbox and CookieYes plug-ins, which means I’m losing money and it’s pissing me off. Spent another hour working on this even though I’ve been working on it for months now. I’m so annoyed by dumb tech shit like this and like UGH BOTS GO AWAY!

9:45 am

Came upstairs to get ready, did a few odds and ends on Claude while I did my makeup, like started updating the tripwire toolkit tripwire page to try and increase conversion rates. Then paid Rachel for her extra hours worked last month and responded to a couple of emails. Our new welcome series is working like gangbusters and we’ve gotten over 100 replies from our new subscribers this week, which feels so good.

I’m also celebrating that we have grown our email list to nearly 17k subscribers this year, nearly doubling what we started with, and with my ads running at a much lower budget than usual. JV partnerships, sponsorships, summits, etc. have been helping with that lead gen. My goal is to end the year at 35k and ensure we can keep a 40% open rate minimum.

11 am

Time to host the Room co-working call. This’ll be nice to get a few things of my own done during the call and then we spend the last 15 minutes or so answering questions.

12:08 pm

Done with the Room call. Working on a quick update with Claude to our tripwire toolkit tripwire page so we can try to increase conversions for future signups.

Ended up spending the next hour and a half Voxering with clients and responding to office hours in the Telegram channel. There was only one question this week, but I had a Voxer unstuck session with another client, and our partnership clients both had Voxer questions in there for me, so that took a little bit. In between that time, I was still working with Claude on updating the Tripwire toolkit Tripwire page, which is now complete.

1:45 pm

Lunch break. And Zillow perusal… really feeling the itch to move here.

2 pm

Call with a new-ish client who booked a package of 6 1:1 calls with me and had such a great time helpful her figure out her next best steps, setting some goals and figuring out what’s realistic.

3:15 pm

We ran a little long, and I went downstairs to see the kids who just got back with the babysitter and hang out for a few.

3:45 pm

I’ve got 45 minutes until the sitter leaves so really need to look at what’s happening this week and next and prioritize. Also sent some emails to clients with homework and redirected the tripwire toolkit original page as I also updated that one… wanna see it?

  • Review Jenna’s sales sequence for MBA, which Rachel polished
  • Update MBA sales page based on 2.0 version before Jenna’s webinar
  • Plan out remaining This is How We Claude tasks
  • Write Watch Me Build: TEASE email — $1K/Day Experiment (session Jun 25)
  • Write the WSL
  • Fix Cloudflare Worker Bug
  • Send Partnership Clients rev share invoices
5 pm

Time to log off for the day, whew it was a long one. Me and Gem are going to take Fergus on a walk to the Rose Park.

Came back and we puzzled and cooked spaghetti dinner together, ate outside in the courtyard and I just will never get over this weather here. Divine!

After dinner we put on some music and I did my puzzle and Gem played with her stuffies near me, the boys went upstairs to watch the World Cup and for as little as I care about watching it myself, I love hearing the two of them up there screamining and hollering and having such a good time. I’m so glad Mattie can share this with his kid.

9:30 pm

I want to see if I can get Claude Code to do some tasks for me overnight with my forever funnel and some other email sequences I’m trying to move out of Kartra into Beehiiv, and rewrite and improve at the same time. I need to a loom about what this looked like because it was so cool to be able to wake up to this being done this morning, though admittedly it took me a couple hours working on it last night to get it where I needed. I guess i was trying to do like 4 projects at a time, which is often how I work with Claude since it can be slow. Would y’all want to see this? Comment yes or no and I’ll record.

11:30: Way past my bed time. I kept getting sucked back into just one more thing and then was very mad at myself for staying up so late. I think I often use work like this to either help me process big emotions or avoid big emotions… not sure which it was last night because when I got into bed, I was so anxious and am shocked I fell asleep pretty quickly because of the rush of adrenaline coursing through my body. Oh abandonment issues, gotta love em!

Wednesday Jun 17, 2026

My goodness, I don't even know what happened today! It's 6:38 pm, and I'm just looking at this doc. It was a hard day.

Let's see, I woke up about 7:15, and Gemma and I took Fergus for a walk around the block, made everybody breakfast, packed their lunches, and then did some puzzling while Gem played Minecraft next to me. Matt and Jackson ran out to get coffees and donuts.

I was feeling pretty anxious and needed to talk to one of my friends about a realization I was having, so I called her and we chatted for half an hour. I cried and just found it generally hard to get into work today.

Around 9:00, the babysitter came and took the kids to the pool. I guess that was around the time I was talking to my friend, because now that I'm thinking about it, I remember that I was getting the kids into the car with her while I was on the phone. At 10:00, I had a doctor's appointment virtually with my endocrinologist, Who I meet with about every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on my health, is truly the best doctor I've ever had. Talked about a few adjustments to my meds, and that took about an hour.

After that, I went inside and told my husband that I was feeling really sad today, so he came out on the porch and talked to me for a while. Then I got very sleepy and decided to take a nap on the day bed out here, which is the best because we get the most glorious breeze! Had a good long sleep and woke up around 12:45.

Decided it was time to finally get some work done, especially because I have a lot of things to do to get myself set up for the webinar with Jenna Kutcher next week and finalizing some of those details.

Our goal is to have 5,000 people registered for the webinar, and I think we are going to hit it, which is crazy, and we are definitely going to have to upgrade our Zoom plan. All good problems to have!

I've also been working on some stuff for my Forever Funnel and using Claude to help me pull that together, which I still want to show a Loom of how I did it Because these emails were originally in Kartra, I had Claude code pull all of the emails out of Kartra and create a database. I then figured out what needs to be updated because the old funnel had old offers that we don't sell anymore. I created a 52-week plan, subbed in emails that I've already written before that could be used to sell some of my other offers. I came up with the cadence of how often I want to promote each offer over the 52 weeks. I then had it write all of the emails that were already written into HTML, and then had it use the MCP to put those emails into a Beehiiv automation that I didn't have to build myself at all. Oh my god, how cool is that?!. That will come as soon as I have the energy and motivation to get that together.

Around 1:30, my friend texts me that there was an ACA meeting at 2:00 that I should go to, and so I decided to do that, even though the responsible part of me knew that I needed to get work done, but my body knew otherwise. I'm so glad I did! I ate lunch on the call, and it was so good to be in community with people who are going through similar struggles.

That ended around 3:15, and I basically spent the next three hours just working, reviewing the sales sequence post-webinar, getting the whole soul list email finished, making some decisions about some technical things, and trying to fix this dang bot!

And now here we are… time to go be with my family. I'm feeling like the sauna, hot tub, cold plunge is in my future.

I didn't realize how hard it would be for me to keep track of my time while I'm out here in Santa Fe. Things are just very different while I'm here, in some amazing ways and in some ways that are just hard, because you're not at your home, in your space, in your normal routine. I'm actually writing this at the end of the day, thinking back on, "What did I actually do today”....

And it's amazing how quickly you actually forget what you did if you don't track it in the moment! I think this is one of those reasons why it's good to write things down as you do them, because we often underestimate, especially as women, how much we're actually doing in a given day.

Here's what I can remember:

  • I didn't have the babysitter come until 10:30, so I spent the morning with the kids.

  • We did the hot tub and the sauna, and we took the dog for a walk.

  • I made them breakfast, and we FaceTimed with all the grandparents.

  • I was again feeling pretty anxious and trying to dare my way through it by saying, "Who cares? I've been anxious a million times before. I can be anxious and still do anything I want."

Anyway, I'm not exactly sure where the morning hours went, but it was a combination of doing some journaling and inner child healing work and being with the kids.

At 10:30, I had a VIP day with one of my longest running clients and friends in this business, Molly. She signed up for a package of six calls, and I have been setting up her cloud account for her, creating new skills based on her specific needs, training things on her IP. She runs an agency, and so she needs different projects for all of the dozens of clients that she works with. It has been so fun getting into somebody else's business and teaching them how to do this for themselves!

Molly is just one of those people who is the first to admit that she's never going to sit down and watch a video, and she just wants to do something with you live. I've been loving working this way! It's making me think that I want to create an offer, or maybe even just position my one-on-one coaching differently, like: "Hire me to set up your cloud with you or your AI tools, and we'll build out things together in real time, and I'll show you how things work." We've been doing this in two-hour chunks for the last three weeks, and it's truly just been so fun, partly because I adore Molly and getting to spend time with her is the best, and also because I think this is truly my zone of genius. It's fun doing it for somebody else's business!

After the VIP day, I jumped on to the Weird Hermits Mastermind call, and it quickly got very vulnerable as I started asking them for some advice about my webinar next week with Jenna. We have over 5,000 people registered, and I have never spoken to a group this large or had a launch that could potentially be this big with a partner like Jenna. I'm feeling all kinds of anxious and excited and curious and hopeful and trying to also detach and tell myself that this is just work, whether it goes amazingly or it doesn't meet my expectations. It's just my job. It's not who I am. It doesn't mean anything about me, my worth, my abilities. It can just be a fun, exciting thing that I do.

I've already done the hard part of getting the collaboration and running this webinar and this funnel so many times that I know it's going to work. I just don't know exactly how well it's going to work, but I'm super excited! Regardless, I have 5,000 new people on my email list for free, which is by far the fastest way I've grown my email list, especially for zero dollars.

Anyway, I got the best coaching and love and support from this group of women, and I just can't emphasize enough: if you don't have a community like The Room or a more intimate peer mastermind, I highly recommend you get yourself into one! I can't believe how lucky I am to be surrounded by these brilliant, generous, kind, thoughtful women who are all working towards similar goals but with zero competition. I'm just in awe of the support that I got. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, truly!

All right, so after that call, I jumped on to a one-on-one coaching call with one of our partnership clients, and it was fascinating to see her mindset issues around selling. It makes me feel like there's so much more work to be done here, and I think this is going to be some of the new content I plan on releasing over the coming months. It's amazing to me how many smart, successful businesswomen feel guilty for selling and just feel like they should give everything away for free. They nurture, nurture, nurture before they ever dare ask for a sale, even though selling somebody a product or service is what could actually help them. Expect more content coming around that soon.

You guys have heard me get on my soapbox about how every email I send is a sales email and there's also value in it. Part of that is just my mindset around what is valuable. Free is not the only way to provide value! In fact, free is often the best way to provide value, because those who pay pay attention and they take the work more seriously and they usually end up getting better results.

After I got off the call, I Sent an email to Jenna confirming a few details for the webinar on Tuesday. I sent a poll to my new Mixer Mind Pod to pick some new dates and did a couple of other housekeeping things. Then it was time to go out to dinner with our friends here. We went to this amazing New Mexican restaurant and had this soup, which I never would have ordered on my own but was probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. So many layers of flavor and complexity! Every individual bite tasted like twenty different bites in one. Different textures and temperatures and flavors. It was incredible, and so was the rest of the meal. Of course I love my friends so much, and we sat there chatting for three hours.

came home and got in bed with Gemma, who has had a very hard time sleeping on her own, which is not unusual but is even worse than normal because her bedroom is downstairs and our bedroom is upstairs. I think she's just scared to be that far away.

Put on Freaky Friday, and she immediately fell asleep. While I planned to turn it off as soon as she was passed out, I couldn't turn away and ended up watching the whole thing by myself. So good! We've been watching some classics from my childhood like that and The Parent Trap, and clearly are on some kind of Lindsay Lohan kick, and I'm not mad about it.

Friday, I took totally off. I went on a gorgeous hike through the Aspen Vista in Santa Fe with my friend for a few hours. We went and got tea at the Santa Fe Tea House afterwards. A delicious, rooibos, minty fog that I'm still craving!

Then I came home and decided to let the babysitter go early. I took the kids to the Children's Museum for a few hours, and then we decided to go see Toy Story 5 at one of those dinner-and-a-movie theaters. Overall, it was a gorgeous, great day here in Santa Fe with the perfect balance of kid-free time and family time.

End of Week Reflection, Decisions + Takeaways

Here's the part that should make you a little uncomfortable, in a good way: this was one of the best revenue weeks this business has ever had, and I was barely in the building for it.

$19,488.50 across five days. 188 sales. I logged 19.25 hours of work, and four of those days were either 15 minutes, zero, or "I genuinely cannot reconstruct where the morning went." Monday I worked a quarter of an hour and made $5,763. Friday I worked nothing, took a hike through Aspen Vista, drank a minty rooibos fog I'm still thinking about, and the business made $4,715.50 while I was at a dinner-theater watching Toy Story 5.

The math spits out an hourly rate of $1,012. I want to be careful about that number, because it's the most flattering and most misleading stat in this whole report.

What actually earned the money

I didn't. The systems did.

The biggest driver was the tripwire funnel attached to next week's Jenna Kutcher webinar. Jenna sent her people to register, and before I'd promoted a single thing on my end, the funnel pulled in $6,877 from pages I set up once and then mostly left alone: $5,775 in tripwire sales at $77, $714 from the order bump, and $388 in the upsell of annual $1k/Day passes. We now have 6,109 people registered for the webinar, off a registration page converting at 47% — meaning roughly 13,000 humans hit that page and nearly half handed over their email. We even closed two pay-in-full MBA sales with zero MBA promotion running, which is the cleanest proof I have that everything sells everything.

The order bump deserves its own line. 56% of tripwire buyers added it — 42 of 75 people said yes to a $17 add-on with no convincing from me. A bump that converts at better than half is doing more work than most people's entire upsell sequence.

If you want the replicable lesson, it's this: the week your revenue decouples from your hours is the week you find out whether you built a business or a job. I built the tripwire page, the bump, the welcome series, and the ad funnel on calm days months ago. This week they ran without me because that's the entire point of building them. The hot springs were on the schedule before the revenue showed up, and the revenue showed up anyway.

The leak I fixed, and the experiment it kicked off

Everyone who opts in sees the $77 tripwire, and for a while that page was converting badly enough that I wrote YIKES in my notes and meant it. I rebuilt it Tuesday, in fifteen-minute pockets between a co-working call and putting on my makeup. It's converting around 1.8% of opt-ins now, up from where it was.

Worth sitting with: I touched that page because Jenna's traffic made the leak suddenly expensive and visible. A bad conversion rate on a trickle is easy to ignore. The same rate on a flood is a fire alarm. Left to my own devices, that page might have sat there another quarter. If you've got a known leak you've been "getting to," ask what it's costing you at your current traffic, then ask what it'll cost the day your traffic spikes. Same percentage, wildly different dollar amount.

The fix also handed me a real experiment, which is the whole reason this offer exists. I deliberately kept the tripwire at $77 instead of dropping it to $17 or $27, because I want to know whether a higher price earns more total even with fewer buyers.

My early modeling says it does — at $17 I'd need to convert more than three times as many people just to match this week's front-end revenue, and a price cut that size rarely quadruples conversion.

But front-end cash is the wrong scoreboard for a tripwire. The number I've never actually had is what a buyer is worth 30 days later, by entry price. A $77 buyer self-selects as higher-intent; a $17 buyer is a softer lead in a customer costume.

So I'm going to split-test $77 against $27 on Jenna's volume and measure two things, not one: revenue per visitor and downstream revenue per buyer. I'll report back. That second number is the one that should set my front-end price forever, and I've been guessing at it for years.

I’m doing another JV next month with Gemma Bonham-Carter so that should be another volume test I can get quick data on.

The problem I keep tolerating instead of solving

The bot traffic breaking my ConvertBox and CookieYes has now been on my list for months. I spent another hour fighting it Tuesday. "Fix Cloudflare Worker Bug" is still sitting unchecked at the bottom of Wednesday's to-dos. It's actively losing me money and it makes me want to throw my laptop into the Santa Fe River.

I solve problems that have a clear finish line and a little dopamine at the end. I tolerate problems that are murky, technical, and endless. The bot is the second kind, so it survives week after week while flashier tasks get done. The honest move is to stop pretending I'm going to wake up one morning wanting to debug a Cloudflare worker. I won't. This needs to leave my plate entirely — a clean scope handed to someone who finds this kind of thing satisfying instead of soul-crushing.

Your next offer is hiding in the work clients beg you to do live

The most energized I sounded all week was describing the VIP days with Molly — building out her Claude setup, writing custom skills for her IP, doing it together in real time while she watches. She's never going to sit and watch a course video and she's the first to say so. So we build, live, in two-hour chunks, and I lit up writing about it.

That's not a side note. That's market research I got paid for. When a client repeatedly hires you to do the thing live instead of consuming the thing you already made, they're telling you where the offer is. I'm going to stop treating "build your AI stack with me, live" as a favor I do for Molly and start treating it as a product. If you notice yourself doing the same custom thing for client after client, that's the offer asking to be born.

The 11:30pm thing

I have to name this because the data did. Twice this week I got sucked into "just one more thing" late at night with Claude Code, told myself it was productivity, and got into bed at 11:30 with adrenaline coursing through me and an abandonment-flavored anxiety I couldn't explain. I use work like this to either process big emotions or avoid them, and I can't always tell which.

For the readers running businesses out of nervous systems that learned early to stay busy when things feel scary: the late-night work binge that looks like discipline is often regulation in disguise. The fix isn't a harder boundary I'll resent. It's noticing the tell — adrenaline, "one more thing," a strange anxiety with no clear source — and treating that as information about my emotional state rather than evidence that I need to keep working.

What this week actually proved

I spent four of five days emotionally underwater. Triggered into a child-self state Friday and Saturday. Sobbing in a friend's lap. Three ACA meetings. A crying call with a friend before I could start work Wednesday, then a nap on the daybed, then a doctor's appointment, then more crying. By any "show up and grind" standard, I was a mess.

The business had its best week anyway.

That gap — between how available I was and how much it earned — is the whole thesis of working this way. I built the machine when I had capacity so it could carry me when I didn't. This week it carried me through hot springs, ACA meetings, a Lindsay Lohan double feature, and a level of grief I'm still moving through. The systems don't care that I was crying. They just kept selling.

That's the freedom I keep talking about. It isn't the $19K. It's that the $19K showed up on a week I needed to fall apart, and I got to.

Question on this?

Drop it for the next office hours.
