🕊 Bhakti Business Blessing

May this be an offering, not a performance. May it rise from truth, not fear. May I be guided not by outcome, but by integrity. May I release all grasping and pour only what is real. May this serve even one heart—and let that be enough. May I remember: I am not selling. I am devoting. May I be unattached to who comes, who buys, who claps. May this be a sacred act of remembering who I am.

10:30 am

Sitting down to work after being with the kids this morning. I don’t even know what happened, it was such a whirlwind and they don’t leave for camp until 8:45 so it feels like so much time with them. I finished cleaning up their playroom when I got home from dropping them off (after walking the dog and grabbing a creamsicle Matcha latte from my neighborhood cafe, my newest addiction!) and then starting easing into the workday.

  • We just got back from vacay late Saturday night, so I’m still settling back in at home. We go out of town again next week so it’s a bit of a whirlwind, but such is summer. I’m craving peace and quiet after a week of 24/7 with my wild kiddos and also in a big purge of their playroom as I reorganize and simplify. Having a hard time getting motivated and focused to work this week as I feel like my brain has switched into vacay mode. Funny how the first few days of vacation are always hard to turn work off and then once I finally do, it’s hard to turn it back on again.
  • Looking at my to do list for the week first and getting my head screwed on right for what’s happening this week:

To Do List:

  • Complete Shopify -> Kartra migration

    • Reconnect FB Ads tracking data to new pages as I noticed they’re not tracking correctly anymore
    • Test out Uniquery and Growify for tracking ROAS
    • Redirect Shopify links (can I use WP plugin to do this? I’ll have to look into that but I hope so!)
  • Update Room sales page for July GIDW

    • Turn retargeting ads on
    • Write email promos for next week since I’ll be OOO
  • Inbox Insights client responses

  • Write the WSL

  • Write BTS income report

11 am

**through 4 pm:**I forgot that I was supposed to be time tracking this week, so I didn’t make note of when I did what, but here’s what happened today:

  • Spoke on a live panel for the Art of Rest Retreat. It’s not too late to join!
  • Sent Sponsor Spotlight stats to our WSL sponsor from yesterday.
  • Responded to Inbox Insights clients.
  • Responded to a bunch of looms and Clickup updates from my VA about the Kartra migration and feeling SO excited with how close we are to being fully done. We also made our first MBA sale at the unbelievable $44/month price and I didn’t even realize it was turned on, and it came from a cold lead from an ad. So that was really exciting!!
  • Catching up on emails since Monday is my admin day.
  • As I was duplicated my May ads to get some new clean data for July, I also decided to test running ads directly to $17 version of 9-grid sales page instead of $7, per my ads mentor’s advice. I’m hoping this will convert as well as the $7 tripwire and help us get a positive ROAS. It’s got a $7 bump offer and it leads to the $44/month offer for MBA.
4 pm

Kids home from camp. This summer schedule is wonderful in some ways (sleeping in!) but so hard when I have 2-3 less hours to myself during the day. Especially in between traveling where I feel like I really need a day of doing nothing to recover from 24/7 with kids (this introvert is really not cut out for that!) before I go back to work.

  • Gem had her friend over so they played for a while. Then Mattie took Jackson to OT and Gem and I watched Bluey together and ate dinner. Boys got back home around 6:45 and then my sister-in-law came over to check out some of the toys and baby stuff we were going to donate (my brother is having his first child in September! I’m going to be an auntie!!). So we hung out with her for a while and then got the kids bathed and down for bed.
  • Promptly zoned out on the couch with some music and my newest addiction, Solitaired for several hours. And then read Goodreads and book reviews for a while trying to figure out what I want to read next. I swear I spend more time researching what I’m going to read than just reading. I should just pick something and start reading. But the newest Lisa Jewell book comes out tomorrow so I pre-ordered that and went to bed. Late. Like 1 am. Ugh! I literally went to bed between 7:30-9:30 every night at the Cape last week and was so looking forward to being on a better sleep schedule. But 1 day back to the real world and my vacation bliss has disappeared and I’m having revenge time all over again. Such is this phase of life, I suppose.

7:45 am

Woke up for the 100th time because I’m feeling newly allergic to my cats after being away from them for a week and I couldn’t stop coughing last night with them all over me. Got the kids ready for camp, packed their lunch, made them breakfast and paid Jackson $5 to organize the toys in his room into keep and donate piles. Picked up our neighbor’s kid, Gemma’s BFF, to take everyone to camp and this evening, her mom is picking up all the kids and taking them to gymnastics class. Love our village!

9:30 am

Home from the coffee shop (had to get my creamsicle matcha fix) and going through all the books in my kids’ room to donate more. As someone with OCD and hoarding-esque tendencies, it’s really hard for me to let go of stuff. But once I do, the flood gates are open and EVERYTHING MUST GO!

10:30 am

Back at my desk after taking the dog out and walking in the grass, barefoot in my front yard, picking weeds and getting some sunshine. Anything to avoid work this morning, I guess. My brain is still in airplane mode from our trip. I’ve got a handful of calls today and need to work on ads and migrations in between. I’m not even sure what I’d rather do instead, part of me really is so excited about all of this and ready to go. The other part of me, my brain, is just moving soooooo slow. Gonna need to pomodoro this shit out.

10:41 am

Starting my Voxer Unstuck Session with a long-time client.

  • Ah got interrupted because my son’s doctor called and I needed to speak to her for like 20 minutes.
  • Finishing up with my Voxer client.
11:25 am

Alright turning on my 20 minute timer and going to rewrite the Room sales page for July’s GIDW: Custom GPTs.

12:34 pm

Sales page is updated. Checklist is created for what we’re going to cover. Invites have been sent out to guest speakers for our roundtable. And I am freaking PUMPED for this one. It may be our best one yet! You coming?

  • Now need to go get ready for the Room call and eat a snack before the call. I went outside on my porch with Ferg and didn’t bring my phone. Just sat there in peace and quiet with him and the most delicious tuna melt from a sandwich shop near me.
1 pm

Hosted the Room call, revenue planning and lead gen mapping. This is one of my favorite calls. So much good insights and teamwork today!

2:04 pm

Time for a true lunch break now. I only got to have a few bites of my sandwich earlier so going to finish it now before my next call, a podcast interview for the Ops Authority.

2:30 pm

Ended up gabbing with Nat for 45 minutes, then recording the podcast interview so this took way longer than expected but in the best way.

3:50 pm

Quick break outside with the pup and a rocking chair on my front porch.

4 pm

Coffee chat with a Mixerminder friend who’s going to do a list swap with me this summer and we were planning out the details.

4:45 pm

Got a few more name suggestions for who I should invite to speak on my panel for the CustomGPT GIDW so sent out those invites and created some tasks for me in CU for the list swap.

  • Checking in on some personal text messages and enjoying the quiet as my kids are at gymnastics class and I didn’t even have to take them. Going out to dinner with a friend tonight and feeling like my extroversion is on its last legs. So glad tomorrow is a no call day!
5:09 pm

Need to respond to one of my unlimited Voxer coaching clients before the day is officially over.

5:35 pm

Came in to find that Fergus had literally peed on my kitchen counter onto the paper towels. WTF? So random it’s almost funny. Almost 🙄

Looking into how I can redirect all my Shopify product listings to their new Kartra pages in the simplest way possible. Turns out because it’s not Wordpress pages, I can’t use the RankMath redirect tool I was hoping for. Looks like I’ll need to add Cloudflare or pay $9/month to keep my Shopify account active and set up the redirects there. Likely going with Cloudflare and having Mildred (what I named my ChatGPT) help me with a step by step checklist so I don’t fudge this whole thing up.

6:15 pm

Time to meet my friend for dinner at Houston’s, one of our guilty pleasures (Cheesecake Factory is our other!).

  • Had a great night out catching up with my friend and came home and went straight to bed. So tired from a day of extroverting.

7 am

Woke up “early” today because the kids have dentist appointments at 8 before camp. Mattie is taking them but I gotta get them ready and make their breakfasts and lunches. Still having this awful dusty cough and also woke up wih a headache (maybe related or maybe due to my Invisalign which I got 2 weeks ago and am doing a 5-week speed reset before getting my new retainer… my permanent one break during Covid and it literally took me 5 years to get it fixed…anyway I digress), so I’m really looking forward to a quiet day with no calls and nobody in the house. I’m just not feeling great.

7:45 am

Kids are out the door and I’m taking Fergus for a walk before it gets too hot. Chatting with my BFF on the walk and then came back inside at 8:30 and collapsed on the couch under the fan. I don’t plan on moving from here today except to get food, lol.

9 am

Going to take a breakfast break before I start work today and rest my brain for a bit.

11:30 am

Oof, I just needed some rest so I snuggled up with Ferg to watch “And just like that”...which honestly hit a little too close to home with Wyatt’s ADHD struggles. Took the pup outside for a sunshine break and now opening up my laptop on the couch and working on the shopify migration again. I think I figured out how to do the redirects in bulk, but it’s taking a while for the DNS settings to be applied in Cloudflare and I can’t do the redirects until that happens.

1:10 pm

Okay stopping that for now. Need to get some writing done this afternoon, but I made some good progress. Got stuck with redirects because turns our Cloudflare’s free plan only lets me bulk redirect 20 and I have at least 50 redirects I need to make and don’t want to pay $20/month just for that. Nothing’s easy, ha! Also found some broken links and sent a loom to Jayce to fix those, and updated a couple tweaks on the new shop homepage. What do you think?

After seeing me navigate a messy tech migration, ask yourself: What am I holding onto to 'save money' that's actually costing me in mental energy or lost time?

Alright time for a lunch break. Then it’s writing time!

2 pm

Back at my “desk” (aka couch) and rescheduling some appointments for the week to give me a bit more breathing room and white space. Feel better already.

2:08 pm

Time to write the WSL. Got sidetracked when I went into ClickUp to get some links for this and ended up fixing a few Zaps connected Kartra sales to Airtable and answering some migration questions for Jayce.

2:52 pm

Ok now it really is time to write because my kids are going to be home in 1 hour, AH!

3:36 pm

Ok done with the WSL, answered a couple other quick emails and now I gotta take Fergus to the vet for his lepto booster and pick the kids up at camp. Solo parenting tonight and I’m seriously praying for a quiet movie night. Before I go, gotta check in with my Voxer clients!

4 pm

At the vet. Thank Goddess for my friend who picked the kids up for me. Met me at my house with them at 4:20. My brother came over and hung with us for a while, took some of the stuff I’ve been cleaning out of our kids’ rooms. We played Barbies and Bluey and watched a little Minecraft movie and then after the longest 4 hours of my life, it was time for bed.

8:30 pm

Eating my lemon pepper ranch bowl from Gusto, watching Friends re-runs and playing Solitaire for a couple hours. Then it was up to bed with my book and my cough where I slept in fits and starts and ended up with 2 other small humans in my bed, plus two cats and an anxious dog who did not like the thunderstorms that came through last night.

8 am

Wake up, get the kids ready for camp and head out the door. Stopped to get my creamsicle matcha fix on the way home and picked up the house a bit. Take a Zyrtec in case my cough and now super itchy eyes are allergy related. I don’t know what’s going on with this but it is hella annoying. Somehow feeling much more energetic today though.

9:15 am

Sitting down at my desk, catching up on this doc from last night and starting my morning routine (if you remember from previous months, I have a start up ritual).

9:30 am

Responding to my Voxer client and just got the most amazing testimonial from her:

Working with Kate in this Voxer coaching container has been exactly what I needed—truly transformative, both strategically and energetically. Coaches have great coaches - and Kate is one of the best! I came in like an Olympic sprinter anxious to work and get unstuck in my business. Kate met me right where I was with so much grace, grounded presence, empathy, and deep leadership—even without us having a prior relationship. She got straight down to business, matched my energy, and held space for me without ever making me feel like too much.

Even though we didn’t dive into personal stuff, I felt deeply seen and supported. This isn’t your typical coaching, and Kate’s not just a coach—she’s a leader with a moral compass I deeply respect. She goes the extra mile for her clients, and you feel it in everything she does.

Kate has this unique ability to meet your spiraling with calm clarity, to hold space for your vision while lovingly challenging your thought errors. Every day, I walked away with questions that cracked open a new way of thinking and brought me closer to the business (and mindset) I actually want. The mindset work we did around my audience, pricing, and conversions helped me get clear on what matters most and where to focus next. Kate didn’t just tell me what to do—she helped me reconnect with my own wisdom. I finally feel like I'm leading from belief instead of fear.

One moment that stands out was when I was totally stuck in my webinar funnel sequence. Within one Voxer message, Kate helped me rework the whole thing—and I implemented it immediately. It was such a quick win and huge shift that got me moving again after feeling blocked for so long.

I can’t say enough about the quality of support I received in this container. If you're a high-achieving entrepreneur who wants strategic coaching and deep mindset shifts, Kate is the one you want in your corner. I’ve never felt so seen, supported, and strategically guided all at once.

Ended up getting jazzed by this testimonial and spent some time pulling together some others that I’ve received from Inbox Insights and Voxer coachingand feeling really proud of how I show up for my people and the results they’re getting!

10:12 am

I need to respond to Rachel and Jayce for a bit this morning as they’re both waiting on me for things so they can do their job. It’s the double-edged sword of having support in your biz. But right now I’m feeling so grateful for it because I’ve been able to get so much done in my business this month without being the only one to do it, in fact, I haven’t done most of it and that is amazing!

Also ended up clearing out my inbox which was much needed since my vacay last week as well.

11:08 am

Taking the pup for a walk to get some Vitamin D and movement in before my calls start for the afternoon.

12 pm

Meeting with my mastermind. Talking about red ocean vs blue ocean and finding a niche with less competition. My friend who owns a local landscape design firm in Atlanta is going to hire me to improve her online presence, create some scalable offers for her and incorporate AI into her business and it’s making me think about adding another arm of my business that works with established business owners who don’t need to be convinced they want a biz, they already have one, are already making money and just want to do it better. I think that’s who I most prefer working with and it would open up a whole new line of revenue that might be a fun new venture for me. So we chatted with others in the group who have been thinking about similar things and brainstormed what this could look like without turning us into service providers.

1:50 pm

Off my call and taking a quick break outside with the pup.

2 pm

Back inside for the AMA call with Dama about Airtable. Ended up only being 15 minutes because only 1 question was pre-submitted, which happened to be mine. Glad to have my time back ;)

2:18 pm

Need a quick snack and then going to finish out my SOPs for the team. And start writing the income report blog post.

2:30 pm

Back at my desk and doing what I said I was going to do ;)

3:06 pm

Alright all SOPs done. Time to write the income report. This one is going to be tricky because I figured out last week that over $7k of my Paypal transactions have been misattributed to the wrong account since 2024. We also found that some affiliate payouts weren’t automatically being posted and so I had to manually withdraw the funds from PartnerStack and so that income is missing too. All this to say, my numbers are way off. And this is also why it pays to know your numbers SO WELL because if I didn’t, I never would’ve realized that these payments were missing. But I know what to look for and my bookkeeper sends me detailed reports every month that I can look at to also see that everything looks right. Anyway, I’m not sure how to best report on May’s numbers given this situation. So I’ve gotta be thinking about that as I’m writing this report.

4:05 pm

Kids are home. Time to go chill with them before piano.

Freedom Fridays mean no work! So I didn’t work at all, except I had a 90-min call with Rachel that got rescheduled from Wednesday because we were both not feeling well. We mapped out some exciting new retention strategies for the Room and talked about how to increase community engagement. Here’s the Cliff’s Notes of what we’re going to experiment with this summer:

Here’s the CliffsNotes of the Room retention + engagement experiments you and Rachel are testing this summer:

🧠 STRATEGY + STRUCTURE

1. Consolidate Slack to One Main Channel

  • Archive all individual product channels (MBA, Launch Lab, 1K, etc.)
  • Everything now happens in VIP Soul Circle: welcome posts, questions, reminders, featured lessons
  • Goal: simplify, boost visibility, reduce ghost town threads

2. Weekly Slack Engagement Email (Rachel's writing it)

  • Sent to all past buyers (not the whole list) who are eligible to join our community (it’s client/student only)
  • Combines: “what’s happening in Slack,” featured Room content, and exciting opps
  • Encourages existing members to return + re-engage AND nudges inactive buyers to join Slack

3. Create a Dedicated Room Onboarding Nurture Sequence

  • Helps new members understand what they get + how to use it
  • Reinforces value with mindset support (e.g. “even if you only do __, it’s worth it”)
  • Outlines features like monthly KK credits, Get It Done Week, and visibility perks

🔁 RETENTION + CHURN REDUCTION

4. Milestone Rewards + Gamification

  • After X months in the Room, unlock new perks (like Sponsor Spotlights, KK credit, discounts)
  • Potential leaderboards, shoutouts in Slack, affiliate spotlights
  • Long-term idea: build a consistency tracker and “get it done” streak rewards

5. The ‘Almost Done’ List

  • For members who don’t submit during Get It Done Week
  • Offer a second chance to complete it solo the following week
  • Incentives: smaller KK credit, shout-out, visibility—but not the full feature/email promo

6. Address Mindset Blocks

  • People cancel because they feel behind or “aren’t using it enough”
  • You’ll test messaging like: “Even if you only attend one call, it’s worth $97+ because if you booked a call directly with me, it would be $222.”
  • Future nurture emails will include reframes around enoughness, value, and ROI

🧰 TOOLS + TECH

7. Add Automations + Bots

  • Move all Slackbot reminders into VIP Soul Circle (Kate doing it)
  • Create an “Accountability Bot” GPT exclusive to Room portal: helps members plan weekly tasks, prep for coaching calls, and stay consistent

8. Improve Onboarding + Portal UX

  • Rachel to film a welcome video explaining:

    • How Get It Done Weeks work
    • How to join Slack
    • How to access trainings + add calls to calendar
  • Reposition monthly check-in form and automate reminders via Airtable

📣 VISIBILITY + ENGAGEMENT

9. Relaunch Venus Visionaries

  • Highlight members with case studies and interviews
  • Include in Room weekly emails and/or blog
  • Encourages retention through recognition + exposure

10. Start Polling + Feedback Loops

  • Use simple Slack polls for decisions like call times, feature requests, call naming (e.g. “co-working” vs. “implementation”)
  • Possibly send a survey to past Room members about their experience and why they stayed or left

🔄 TACTICAL NEXT STEPS

  • Rachel to:

    • Attend/co-host Tuesday Room calls again
    • Send weekly Room email to entire list
    • Finalize retention strategy and prioritize experiments in phases
    • Film Room welcome video
  • Kate to:

    • Update Slack bots + reminders
    • Set up Airtable automation for monthly check-ins
    • Consider adding call calendar tool (e.g. Done Calendar)

ChatGPT Analysis: AKA, My Mildred Breakdown (She keeps it real.)

🎯 Stuff I'm Actually Proud Of:

  • Honoring my boundaries. Y’all, rest isn’t a cute self-care Pinterest quote—it's the actual fuel that powers my business. Post-vacation life could’ve been chaos central, but instead, I eased back in (mostly) gracefully, proving again that rest isn't just allowed, it's mandatory.
  • Unexpected sales wins. Cold lead buying MBA from an ad I forgot was on? THAT'S what passive income looks like in the wild, friends. This wasn't luck; it was proof that the systems I’ve obsessed over really do the heavy lifting. AND my ads are FINALLY profitable!
  • Delegation is my new BFF. Rachel and Jayce handled a ton of behind-the-scenes magic (hello, Shopify-Kartra migration!) while I got to stay in my zone. Letting go of control still feels a tiny bit terrifying, but my team stepping up is legit life-changing.
  • Showing up without burnout. Guested on a podcast, led impactful client calls, and still enjoyed actual human interaction (gasp!). The key takeaway here? Alignment is everything. Energy flows where authenticity goes.

⚠️ Moments That Made Me Question Everything (JK...Kinda):

  • Vacation hangover is real. Turns out switching my brain from "beach mode" back to "business mode" isn’t an overnight job. I struggled to regain momentum, so lesson learned: I need buffer days. Not negotiable.
  • Tech tantrums. Shopify-to-Kartra redirects and Cloudflare gave me more headaches than my new Invisalign. Tech friction is part of the game—but dang, this week was next-level frustrating.
  • Health hiccups. Between allergies, insomnia, Invisalign pain, and the dog deciding to christen the counter (🤦🏻‍♀️), my physical self-care was a hot mess. Reminder to self: neglecting sleep is never worth the "one more episode" temptation. Ever. And also, I need to get back into an exercise routine that goes beyond walking the dog. My morning rituals of journaling and meditating and reading also need to make an appearance back in my life after all this vacation craziness is over.

💬 In a Nutshell:

Post-vacation life tested my boundaries (and my patience with tech), but reinforced the power of solid systems, delegation, and actual REST. Tightening self-care routines and planning for buffer days will make future transitions smoother and sanity-preserving.

✨ Insights You Can Steal Right Now:

  • Delegating is terrifying—but so is doing everything yourself. Embrace the discomfort because it’s the secret sauce to growth (and sanity).
  • Passive income isn't mythical—it's mechanical. Systems work, even when you're busy doing nothing. Prioritize setting up your automation now so you can reap the rewards later.
  • Your energy isn't endless. Protect it fiercely, especially after breaks. Structure your calendar to reflect your reality, not some productivity guru’s highlight reel.

📚 Tech + Resource Recommendations (Stuff I Actually Used This Week):

  • Kartra - still the queen of automated funnels, even if the migration is a beast.
  • Cloudflare - for redirecting Shopify links to Kartra (but prepare for hiccups if you’re on the free plan).
  • ClickUp + Loom - essential for seamless team collaboration (and keeping me out of Slack hell).
  • Solitaired - my new favorite way to procrastinate strategically (I mean… relax).
  • Matcha creamsicle latte - because caffeine with a creamsicle twist makes adulting way more fun.
  • Goodreads - where decision fatigue meets my bookworm tendencies (seriously, someone please pick my next read).
  • Pomodoro timer - because sometimes the only way out of a brain fog is through short, focused sprints.
  • Inbox Insights + Voxer - for coaching client magic that actually energizes me (imagine that!).
  • Ellie AI: A lifesaver for managing email responses efficiently without sacrificing personality.
  • Airtable: For organizing KKCredit tracking and affiliate bonuses.
  • Fathom AI: Used for recording calls, getting a transcript and AI summaries and chatbots for every call, which I can easily extract key takeaways for emails.
  • Descript: Video editing software that simplifies editing using transcripts and AI.
  • ConvertBox: Pop up software
  • Poppy AI – Testing AI-powered copywriting and automation.
  • AppSumo (browsing and testing new software to optimize workflows + cut subscriptions)
  • Libro.fm (audiobook service supporting small bookstores instead of Amazon)
  • Taras Reid’s Value Collective – AI brand photo shoot tool & repurposing strategies (this is the AI software I use to do my photos)

Moral of the story? Entrepreneurship is messy, magical, and everything in between. Systems and rest aren’t just nice-to-haves—they're survival tools. Keep showing up imperfectly. You’ve got this. (And I’ve got you.) 💪🏻
