🕊 Bhakti Business Blessing

May this be an offering, not a performance. May it rise from truth, not fear. May I be guided not by outcome, but by integrity. May I release all grasping and pour only what is real. May this serve even one heart—and let that be enough. May I remember: I am not selling. I am devoting. May I be unattached to who comes, who buys, who claps. May this be a sacred act of remembering who I am.

7 am

Up and at em’! My husband broke his collarbone yesterday playing soccer (ugh! Poor guy, I feel so bad for him!) so I helped with the kids including taking them to school this morning.

7:45 am

Back home from drop off and taking Fergus for a long, cold morning walk, admiring all the changing leaves and just trying to ground into nature after a very fun and full weekend. Finished listening to my book, one of my favorites I had read in a long while, Margot’s Got Money Troubles. WOW! What a unique story.

That makes 38 books for the year, so I’m 7 books behind my goal of 52, which is a bummer for no other reason than vanity and wishing I made more time to read because it brings me so much joy. What should I read next?

9 am

Back home, cleaning up the house a bit and making coffee and breakfast. I’m freezing again and wanting to snuggle up by the fire but think I need to work at my desk for most of the morning to just get back into a work frame of mind.

I’m not really sure exactly where these next 2 hours ago. It’s a mix of responding to emails, ClickUp, Skool and Voxer, checking in on a couple of things, making updates to our affiliate leaderboard contestand checking stats. Chatting with Rachel about the week’s priorities, getting interrupted by Mattie a few times to see if I can take him to this doctor’s appointment and that and then messaging my clients to get them to reschedule. Such fun! Basically doing all the things and nothing and little admin bits and bobs.

11 am

Quick snack break. I’m so cold, so I heated up neck wrap, some mac and cheese and made a cup of tea, moved into the living room with my laptop so I could sit by the fire under a blanket to work.

11:20 am

Back to the salt mines. Okay. I’m meeting with my mastermind in 40 minutes to set up our ads for BFCM, so I’m going to try to get as many of the daily deals emails knocked out as I can before then. Pomodoro baby, let’s go!

12 pm

Got 75% of the emails done. Wahoo. Now going to go set up the ads on a co-working call with my friend Destini. So helpful because we both figured out what was working with ads and how to not overthink or over prettify anything (stupid simple ads that are borderline ugly are converting best right now!).

Basically decided to just do retargeting ads at $200/day to start (will scale up if they’re working) to all warm leads with like 10-20 creative options so it has plenty to show and increase frequency without showing the same thing over and over. Hitting up different formats like static image posts, carousels, reels (literally just using pre-made canva templates) and stories. The ads are just sending people to our main deals page rather than highlighting individual deals. Again, stupid simple.

Done co-working but having a weird issue where ads manager won’t let me upload .mp4 files so half my ads won’t work. Hoping it’s just a weird glitch that will be fixed tomorrow.

2 pm

Now hopping on my Mixermind pod call with 3 of my fave people, Kate Ahl, Natalie Gingrich and Kara Charron.

4:15 pm

OMG this group can talk, lol. Love them, so life-giving to be in community with them. And also, I’m really starting to feel like I might actually be sick and not just cold and tired. I’m now super congested and feeling feverish.

Cuddled up on the couch with Ferg and my laptop continuing to work on Black Friday emails and ads.

5:30 pm

Kids are home now, time to stop work for the day. Though I now officially have a 100 fever and am useless, so we’re ordering Chick-Fil-A delivery and calling it a movie night.

To bed early for me. Hoping some rest, nasal sprays and the throat coat tea I downed before bed will help.

8 am

Slept in this morning because I still wasn’t feeling great and Mattie could take the kids to school since it’s less than a mile from our house. I have to take him to the orthopedic surgeon this morning though because he can’t drive far or on highways right now, so time to get up.

Showered and ready for the day, feeling slightly better. Definitely going to be taking it slow today and need all the good vibes that this will pass quickly because I’ve got my in-person Weird Hermits retreat tomorrow and Thursday.

8:45 am

Made some coffee and answering some Voxer questions from friends I reached out to 1:1 I thought would be a good fit for the Mixermind, which closes for enrollment today. I decided to do it for a 2nd year because the relationships I made this year were so amazing and the retreat was the best! Now that I know more of what I’m doing, what my goals are and how the group works, I feel confident I can really make the most of year 2.

9 am

Time to drive up to Brookhaven for Matt’s appointment. We listened to Mel Robbins on Armchair Expert on the way, so good!

9:45 am

Dropped Mattie off and went next door to Starbucks with my laptop to work until he’s ready to go home. Fingers crossed he won’t need surgery!

10:15 am

Alright, all settled in here with my latte and breakfast sandwich. Caught up on this doc and ready to respond to Inbox Insights clients.

11:10 am

Mattie is ready to be picked up and I just finished responding to my clients. Perfect timing and good news–he 99% sure does not need surgery! Just rest and ice and pain management.

11:45 am

Back home, moved outside with the pup to the porch to work to see if some fresh air might help me feel better. Responded to some quick emails and reviewing some stuff in ClickUp from my team for BFCM. Filtering out non-affiliate deals from our Partner Page for the holidays. Checked the video upload situation again for ads manager… same issue. WTF? I’m going to try on my desktop later in case something is just funky with my laptop. Sent my friend Ash the details about our affiliate leaderboard contest so she can promote and just doing some odds and ends. Probably should’ve tracked my time better here but my brain is short circuiting today with this sickness. Ugh!

12:30 pm

Feeling so tired. Going to take a quick cat nap before the Room co-working call in half an hour.

1 pm

Hosted the Room call, though it was co-working, so I answered a few questions and continued working on my ad graphics.

2 pm

Hopped off the Room call and jumped onto the call my ads membership to troubleshoot my video issue. Got it solved in 3 minutes, yay! Finished working on my ads.

3:06 pm

FUDGE!! I lost track of time and was 6 minutes late to the JV webinar I co-hosted with Laura Lopuch, which was awesome. She’s created an amazing system for cold pitching that is blowing my mind! Thankfully Rachel was there to introduce Laura.

I listened and finished my ads and scheduled them to run while on the call. So that is DONE! Wahoo. I also finished my abandoned cart emails, which Tara set up for me but I did a final check and edits for. So a very productive hour!

4:10 pm

Off all my calls and Voxing a few folks about the Mixermind since enrollment closes tonight and I have several friends who are interested in joining.

4:30 pm

Going to take a quick stretch break and go sit on the couch to check some other BFCM details. I need to ensure all the links, checkout pages, bumps and upsells are set up correctly and working for the sale since Tara set these all up for me.

5:30 pm: Mattie is at a work event tonight, so I’m on kid duty. Gotta go pick them up. Will be done with work for the night.

Watched The Sopranos with Mattie once he got home and got into bed early to read and go to sleep. Really want to ensure I’m not sick for tomorrow for my in-person Weird Hermit retreat.

*Note: my guess is sales are going to be down this week as everyone is gearing up to spend on Black Friday.

Wednesday, Nov 19, 2025

8 am: Home from dropping the kids off at school and need to get some BFCM stuff wrapped up before my retreat starts today. Currently working on the abandoned cart emails for each deal and continuing to check all the funnel flows.

9:30 am

Gotta take a quick shower before my 1:1 call with a new Partnership Client who’s just starting. Really excited about her. She’s made well over six-figures in her biz but has relied on social media and live launching and is hardly profitable. I can’t wait to help her make money better and more easily, automated and evergreen over this next year!

10 am

Hosted the call with above client. Went amazing. Created a rough plan for her new biz model that is largely based on my 4 weekly non-negotiables:

  1. Email your list weekly with a sales offer
  2. Get in front of new audience (she’s going to use ads for this and is going to set up a killer funnel that I’ve been running myself this year and is a magical thing that I’ll be teaching in January 2026’s Get it Done Week)
  3. Publish search-first evergreen content (she’s choosing to use guest podcasting for this strategy because it works really well for her and brings in quality leads, so let’s double down on what’s working)
  4. Automate one thing in your back-end (she’s moving to Kartra and going to create the feminist flywheel/evergreen ecosystem I teach in MBA)
11:15 am

We went a little over on the call and now I’ve got to go dry my hair (yes I took the call with a wet bun) and pack for the retreat.

12:30 pm

Ready to head out. Gotta drive to the hotel and get settled.

1:15 pm

Made it to the hotel, now going to have lunch with Tara Reid. We got back from lunch and co-worked for a bit in the gorgeous lobby as the rest of the hermits started to arrive and slowly joined us.

By 5 everyone was here and we got happy hour in the lobby and then went to dinner and had so much fun NOT talking about work ;)

8:30 pm

We don’t call ourselves the Weird Hermits for nothin’.... After dinner everyone was done people’ing and wanted to go to bed early and be fresh for tomorrow.

7 am

Woke up and finalized the Black Friday catalogand got one more checkout funnel flow done. I’ve got 1 more to go.

7:45 am

Quick shower and getting ready for our mastermind day.

8 am

Breakfast with the gals. Mostly talking politics, health care fucked upness and WTF is happening to the world?!

9 am

Time to mastermind. We ended up sitting in our conference room that we rented for 8 hours. We took lunch breaks and spent the first 1.5 hours chatting about what we want the Weird Hermits to look like in 2026, recommitting to showing up for this and coming up with a shortlist of some folks we’d like to invite to join us. Then we did hot seats where all 9 of us got 30 minutes to hot seat something in our biz. Y’all. This was 🔥🔥🔥!

This group of women is so badass, so smart, so kind and caring. I am the luckiest to be in community with this group.

If you don’t already have yourself a peer group like this, go get you one FAST. It is seriously the best.

Rather than sharing everything that was discussed over the last 8 hours because 1) how could I possibly? And 2) it’s not all mine to share, I’m going to create a section below where I’m noting my own hot seat aha’s and some plans for 2026.

Friday, Nov 21, 2025

Took the day totally off work and just spent it with friends, had a long call with my Dad and got in a good workout and dog walk chatting with a friend, too.

Weird Hermit Mastermind Takeaways

Here’s what I’m thinking about for 2026 after meeting with my friends this week:

  • Rebrand the Room to be the Anti-Social Room as I want to lean 1000% into this messaging of building a high-profit, low-maintenance biz WITHOUT social media.

    • Anyone who pays annual gets access to a private Voxer channel where we have office hours

    • Increase price to $197.month or $997 annual

    • Run quarterly flash sales to my entire list for the annual pass and monthly promos to join GIDW (might need to drop this down to a max of 3 emails to clear real estate?)

    • Sell Get it Done Week separately, so instead of "get your first month for $27" it will be join the Room for $197 or just sign up for Get it Done Week for $297

    • Work on selling myself on the belief that it's worth at least $5k/year because this is a PREMIUM offer and the ONLY way to get access to Kate outside of 1:1 coaching which is WAYYY more expensive

    • Updates for 2026:

      • Add custom GPT AI Coach Clone
      • Map out the next 6-12 months of what our GIDWs will be and add to sales page
      • Add some evergreen content to the room, like the 4 day challenge and daily sales without social webinar replay (without the pitch at the end)
      • Increase the GIDW call to 3-4 hours once a month so it's more like an intensive day to really get shit done together
      • Give them access to the materials earlier so they can start going through it before we kickoff?
  • Rename MBA to be something anti-social also?

    • Marketing Beyond Algorithms™ (MBA)
    • Marketing Blueprint: Anti-Social™ (MBA)
    • Mindful Business Anti-Social Academy™ (MBA)
  • Close the Launch Lab

    • Offer alumni a pro-rated refund or give them "lifetime access"
    • Offer them double the credit to apply to the Room if they move over
  • Close some shop products that are diluting our messaging and get crystal clear that everything we offer is about no-social business:

    • Most $9 offers
    • Turn ClickUp templates into a bundled offer
    • Turn Sponsored Content Cashflow + Affiliate Marketing into a bundle about diversifying your revenue?
    • Get rid of astrology course
  • Raise prices of most other shop products, and especially coaching to be more aligned with the hourly rate I need to make

    • All courses included in Launch Lab go up to $111-222

    • Tripwire Toolkit → $111

    • Email List Love, Painless Publicity, Anti-Social SEO → $444? 397?

    • Most $44 offers become $111

    • Next-Level Nurture, Inbox Income → $222

    • Evergreen Ecosystem → $555-888?

    • Voxer unstuck → $88

    • Expert eyes → $111

    • Inbox Insights → $222/month

    • Day of Voxer → $555

    • Unlimited Voxer → $999

      • HOW WILL THIS AFFECT TRIPWIRE PRICING? Need to think on this as we just updated all of our tripwire pricing and bump pricing a couple months ago and it’s working well.
      • REBRAND ANY OF THESE NAMES (especially painless publicity) to make the anti-social angle more clear?
  • Change the price of my sponsor spotlights to be more competitive with Facebook CPC

  • Start selling customGPTs outside of the courses they belong to?

    • And add more customGPTs to everything we sell
  • Make changes to $1k/Day Experiment

    • I've now proven I can make $1k/Day in revenue, how about $1k/Day in profit?
    • Get rid of Real Reels and do more experiment debriefs (add calls?)
    • Get rid of quarterly pricing and make it monthly or annual, with emphasis on the annual and run quarterly promos to entire list for annual pass
  • Start sharing summit opps in the What's Happening Room email to help our people find places to speak (maybe create an Airtable form people can fill out and we could start being a promoter of things like this since it's one of our fave strategies for free growth without social)

  • Automate the MBA payoff email and just provide them with a link to pay off their balance and get their bonuses

  • Create more upgrade to annual funnels for memberships

  • Make sure Affirm/Klarna is available on ALL offers over $200 and advertise that on the sales page we have payment plans to help them get started for less.

Total Hours Worked: this is kinda impossible to track this week given that I was masterminding for 2.5 days which could technically be work but also was a lot of hanging with friends and talking about life too. Total Revenue: $6,421 (91.73% of my goal of $1k/Day)

I think that makes sense. This is the week before Black Friday which I expected to be lower than usual. And also I’m excited that even still, with no launches or promos or anything special going on, we were still able to almost reach our goal of $1k/Day with an average revenue of $917/day. Wahoo!

Week in numbers
Total Revenue
$2,660.00 from 22 sales = AOV of $120.91
