Overall Weekly Revenue: $40,947 banked*
Revenue Exclusively from BFCM: $30,382 booked and banked
- 88 sales = AOV of $345.25
- 55 buyers (7 people bought 2+ deals, 1 person bought 3+ deals)
Ad Spend: $1,199.06
-
Purchases reported from FB: 42
-
ROAS: 25.34x
- FB reports 5.03 ROAS
- If AOV was $345 then actual ROAS for 42 sales = $14,490 from $1199 in ad spend = 12.09 ROAS
-
$28.55 cost Per Purchase
-
$15.77 CPM
-
1.08% CTR
Affiliate Sales: $1,235 = 4.06% of total revenue
-
8 sales from the week came from affiliates
-
23.96% average conversion rate among affiliates who made sales.
- $9 average EPC
-
1 of my affiliates accounted for 60% of total affiliate sales
-
5 affiliates sent 400 visits but got 0 sales
- should have generated 23+ sales at your 5.8% overall conversion rate
- either the traffic is garbage or your affiliate messaging is off
Email Open Rates: 44.1% (compared to normal 50%+)
Why the drop?
- Email fatigue (how many emails did you send? Daily? Multiple daily?)
- You revealed all deals upfront (removed mystery/reason to open each day)
Email Click Rates: 1.12%
Email Conversion Rate Overall = 0.83%
So the real question isn't "why didn't this hit $50k?" - it's "why did only 7.8% of your list engage during your biggest sale of the year?"
Catalog Views: 391
Deals Page Visitors: 1,500 visitors (1.9k views)
-
5.8% conversion rate overall
- Direct/Email (818 visitors) converted at ~7.1% if we back into the math. That's actually solid and tells you your email list quality is there, even if the click rate is low. The people who DO click are buyers.
-
318 visitors from ads
- @ 42 sales that’s a 13.2% conversion rate
GPT Deal Decider Uses: 215
- 4 used the coupon codes
- = 1.9% conversion rate
- People used it for entertainment, not buying decisions
- If Deal Decider converted at even 10%: 215 × 10% × $345 = $7,418 lost
Early Bird Waitlisters: 239
- 17 buyers = 7.11% conversion rate
- 21 buyers earned invites to the Debrief call
Abandoned Cart Sequences: 5
- 1 didn’t work, tech issue
THOUGHTS:
- Deal 1-3 were included in Deal 5. That was a mistake and resulted in a really slow start.
- My lifetime access to $1k/Day Upsell totally tanked.
- Are you underpricing everything? If people bought 88 deals but took almost no bumps/upsells, they're either broke, skeptical, or satisfied with the core offer value.
1. Your multibuyers are either existing mega-fans OR brand new whales. There's no middle ground here. It's either:
- People who've been in your ecosystem for months and already own multiple programs (Mel, Shilleen, Selena)
- OR people who literally found you the week of BFCM and dropped $2k+ immediately (Erin, Hayley)
2. The highest spenders are the newest customers. Erin ($2,347) and Hayley ($2,150) joined 5 days before your sale and became your top buyers. What brought them in? That's your gold question.
3. Your Traffic Volume Was Too Low: Math check:
- 1,500 total visitors for a week-long sale is... not enough
- To hit $50k at $345 AOV = 145 sales needed
- At 5.8% conversion = 2,500 visitors needed
- You got 1,500 visitors = 1,000 short
- You needed 40% more traffic just to hit your goal
Your Ads Underperformed on Volume
- $1,199 spend over 8 days = $150/day
- That's... nothing. That's a test budget, not a launch budget.
- 318 ad visitors for $1,199 = $3.77 per visitor (not terrible, but not aggressive)
- Your ROAS was excellent (12.09x) which means you should have spent MORE
If you'd spent $5,000 on ads at the same performance:
- $5,000 ÷ $28.55 = 175 purchases
- 175 × $345 AOV = $60,375 in ad-driven revenue
- ROAS would still be 12x+
- You left $45,885 on the table by underspending on ads
Zero Upsell/Bump Adoption = Broken Funnel
- 7 total bumps taken across 88 sales = 7.95% bump uptake
- Industry standard: 20-30% bump uptake
- Zero upsells taken (except MBA, which also got zero)
- If bump uptake was 25%: 88 sales × 25% × $150 avg bump = $3,300 lost
- If upsells worked at 15%: 88 sales × 15% × $333 = $4,395 lost
- Combined: ~$7,700 left on the table from broken upsell/bump strategy
The Market Doesn't Want "Anti-Social" Here's the hard truth: Your audience isn't actually anti-social media. They're:
- Tired of social media
- Frustrated with social media
- Looking for alternatives to social media
But "anti-social" positioning is:
- Negative framing (against something, not for something)
- Preachy/judgmental undertones
- Requires abandoning a channel they've invested in
- Makes them feel guilty for still being on social
Better positioning: "Social-Optional Success" or "Beyond Social" (growth that doesn't require social, but doesn't shame it)
Bottom Line:
You made $30k in a week with minimal ad spend and a 25x actual ROAS. That's objectively excellent. But the data suggests you're leaving significant money on the table through:
- Better email engagement (that 1.12% CTR is your biggest lever)
- Front-loading urgency (not relying so heavily on CM)
- Upsell/bump optimization (zero uptake = broken or invisible)
- Understanding your multi-buyers to acquire more like them
