00:00 Kate Kordsmeier: Welcome. I don't see anybody on my screen. Do you guys? 00:03 Rachel Silves - Team KK: . Okay. 00:07 Kate Kordsmeier: Shelley's here. 00:08 Rachel Silves - Team KK: Sarah is here twice. Tori just signed in. we got a few people here. Okay. 00:15 Kate Kordsmeier: Hi, Imani. 00:16 Rachel Silves - Team KK: I see you now. 00:17 Kate Kordsmeier: Maybe I have, okay, show non-video participants. That's why. Nobody was on camera. Okay. So welcome, everybody. I am having major internet issues today. So we're going to hope that this cooperates for us. I am on my hot spot right now. And I have to do this training on my laptop. So I'm in a different room than I normally am. And of course, the day, Rachel and I were just saying, the day that I'm doing all these tech demos, my internet's like, bye, we're done here. So I'm super excited about this, though. I have been just mind-blown by what... And I'm excited to kind of show you guys. So I really didn't prep much at all for this training. I mean, it's not really a training, right? This is the first Watch Me Build series that we're going to start inside the 1K Day Experiment. And I really am just like, it's over the shoulder, literally watch me build. I'm going to show you guys how I built a bunch of the dashboards and the scheduled tasks. That's really what I'm focusing on today. We're going to do a Claude Skills Get It Done Week next month inside the room. So today is not going to be as focused on skills as it is on co-work. So let me know here in the chat who actually is using Claude at all right now. Who's still on ChatGPT? Danielle says, Yes, I assume that's, yes, you're using Claude. I, still use ChatGPT mainly. Okay, just started using Claude. so we've been using Claude for, I've been on the paid $20 a month plan for both ChatGPT and Claude for the last, well, I've been with ChatGPT since like 2022 when they launched. and we've been using Claude probably for a year, maybe a little longer than that, but I was really only using it for writing. I felt like the output was so much better with Claude than ChatGPT, especially once they released ChatGPT 5 and maybe even 4. I feel like the, the more updates ChatGPT made, the worse the output got. and so we started using Claude more, and now I have migrated everything. I haven't even logged in to ChatGPT in a few weeks now. I, Claude is... It's only so much better with the output that it gives you, it's also can do so much more than ChatGPT could do and it has features that chat does not have and of course there's obviously like the news of what happened with the US federal government and Anthropic and OpenAI so that was kind of the final push that I needed but even if none of that was true and politics aside I would 1000% recommend Claude over ChatGPT. So wherever you stand now I hope that today will give you some ideas of what you can do and I'm basically just going to start by sharing my screen and let me make sure, I did try to pull up a couple things before we started, okay, I'm going to share my entire screen so that I can be back and forth between tabs, okay, if you have questions at any time I'm pulling the chat up so I can try to follow along with, Thank So what's happening, please stop me because this really is like very interactive, over the shoulder, just watching what I've got set up, and and so I want to stop if you're like, wait, what are you talking about here? What is this? So very quick overview. This is the desktop app of Claude right here. So you have to download the desktop app, and they have it for Mac, and I think PC also, but I'm a Mac for life, Apple for life. So you have to have that in order to use co-work. Co-work is a new-ish feature with Claude, whereas in the past, everything in chat, for example, would be, here's an example of something that I'm doing right now with our welcome series, Get It Done Week. So with chat, in the past, you were You're able to basically just come in and have a conversation with it, and you know, it would, you would ask it to do, to write copy for this, or to, you know, with that, and it would give you information back. With CoWork, it's actually doing the work for you, and not just like writing the email, it is able to connect to a lot of your other tools, and it's also able to control your computer. And so that's why you have to have the app version of it, because it's working on your computer rather than just the like Claude Cloud. So you can do lots of different things inside of Claude CoWork. If you want to just come and start a new task, you would just come into CoWork, and kind of the homepage is here. You can see I've got some active tasks running, I have some scheduled tasks, and you can choose, like you can also just have a conversation with it like you would in chat. I don't recommend doing it. It that way because it stays on your computer. So for example, the reason I'm on my laptop right now is because Cowork is on my laptop and because it works exclusively with your device, when I go to my desktop, none of the Cowork stuff is there. So I've been, this is a limitation that I'm sure they're going to find a solution to soon. But when you're in Cowork, you see where it says work in a project, you open this and you choose a folder on your computer where you want Cowork to work. And so, for example, what I have is I created a Claude folder on my iCloud. I was hoping that this would mean I could access it on my desktop iMac or on my laptop. But I have not been able to figure that piece out yet and I don't think it's quite possible yet. Again, I'm sure this will come in the future and they're releasing. Thank you. Literally every day. So I'm just waiting on that. But for now, you would choose a project or choose a space. So I'm choosing the folder, just my Apple Cloud Docs. And that way it's also backed up. So like if something ever were to happen to this laptop, I would at least have everything that it's done in the cloud. So that was another reason that I chose that. And then you would ask it to do something. So like one of the most obvious things that people have done is ask it to like, clean up my desktop. And so you could give it that prompt and it would like, we could, let's do it right now. Clean up my desktop. Okay, so I usually use Sonnet because I think it's a really amazing model. Opus is like, if you're doing more like coding and more complicated projects, maybe I would use Opus. I really never use Haiku, but Sonnet is great. It doesn't cost as much as Opus. And so so so so so It's just easier. So when I come here to clean up my desktop, it's gonna ask me questions. This is another thing that I love about Claude compared to ChatGPT is like, ChatGPT would just sort of guess what you maybe meant. And not only could it like not do this, but even if it could do it, it would just give you some sort of generic output. But Claude is like, I'm going to give you really good output. So I'm going to ask you what you mean by this, or I'm going to ask you the follow up questions I need in order to do this well. So I love when it comes up with these little, this little pop up that's like a multiple choice question. So what does it mean to you? So maybe it's like, organize into folders, show me what's there, delete junk files. So in this case, let's just say organize into folders. And now it's going to look at that folder on my computer. And you can see I'm going to access this, I want to access this folder, it's going to you every step you kind of have to allow it or deny it. And then it will start kind of doing the work for you. So you can do multiple things at a time. So while this is running, I'm going to show you some other things that I've set up. And mostly those are the scheduled tasks. So for scheduled tasks, you come over here to scheduled. You can just create a new task or you can use the slash schedule in any existing task to set one up. So let's say you've just been having a conversation, having Claude do something for you. And now like maybe in that same chat that I just was having, where I was having it organize my desktop, maybe I want to do that on a schedule now. So I could just go back to that chat and give it a prompt that says schedule this to happen every Monday at 8am or every Friday at 6pm, whatever you want to do. And now it will show up in your scheduled tasks. Another limitation that Claude is having is that it can only run these scheduled tasks while your computer is awake. And so, like, if something is running at tomorrow. And. At 6.37 a.m., well, if y'all know me, you know I am definitely not up at 6.30 in the morning, so this is probably not going to run until I come downstairs and open my laptop, and then have it, like, then I just would come into the morning briefing task here, and I would say, run now. Okay, so you can do that. You can see, like, this morning it says, skipped, because my laptop was not on and open. I do think Claude is figuring out a way to make this happen, even if your computer is not on, because you can see that yesterday it did run at 6.30, and it actually ran, the day before at 6.30, these I was, I was awake and I was using my computer, so that's why that actually does make sense. So it has actually started running, even when, I have not had my computer turned on, but technically I don't think that's supposed to happen, so I'm not really sure if that was a glitch. If that was them figuring out a way to do this and it's kind of starting or what, but that is kind of a limitation with it there. Some people are doing things like buying a Mac Mini so that the computer is always on. I'm not ready to go there yet. That seems extreme. It only takes a few minutes for the morning briefing to run. So I usually just come downstairs in the morning, open my laptop and like make my coffee and do my thing while it's creating my briefing, for example. I see in the chat Hope says, so can you also work on your computer while Cloud Cowork is doing its thing? Yep. You can. That's why I love it. Like it can be doing something while you're doing something else. You can have it doing like 10 different things at once. You just would start new tasks and it can be running multiple things simultaneously. So you don't have to just like sit around and wait until the thing is done. So I do love it for that as well. Okay. So enough about the limitations. Those are really the only two that I've found so far, is the... The cloud between devices and the computer having to be open and awake in order for the scheduled tasks to run. So I'm going to start with a couple of the best ones that I feel like I've created that could be the most useful for y'all. And one of them is my morning briefing. So there's a few things that I had to do in order for this to work. You can see here that there's some connectors that are set up. So I had to go first into the Customize tab and then I went to Connectors. And in here you can click this plus button to browse connectors and they literally have a few hundred I think right now. You can see the ones that I currently have connected are Airtable, Canva, ClickUp, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, PayPal, Stripe, and Zapier. Remember, one quick trick that I have learned... Also, is that Zapier has something called MCPs, and so even though, for example, ClickUp or Gmail are native connectors inside of Claude, I've also found that Zapier's MCPs can do things that their native connectors can't. So if you just come over to zapier.com.mcp, and if you have a Zapier account, you obviously have to be a Zapier user, I created a Claude server, it was super easy, I literally just clicked a few buttons and followed the instructions. And you can connect to 8,000 plus apps, like anything that works in Zapier will work in the MCP generally. And I've added things like, one of my things was I want Claude to actually be able to apply labels in my Gmail, for example. And the regular connector didn't let you do that, but the Zapier MCP... We do create label, or remove label, or apply label. So I connected the Zapier MCP to Gmail, and now Claude can do anything that these tools can do. So I've also added it to my WordPress, to ClickUp, there's a few other features, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, there's lots of cool things, and just depending on your tech stack, I'm sure you could find some things that could help you with. One of my favorite things, which, why, oh, it's because my screen is on here, is QuickBooks. Connecting it to my QuickBooks means I can now ask Claude at any time, what was my income last month? What are my last rolling 12 months of expenses? What's my profit margin year to date? And it can directly go into my QuickBooks and pull that information back for me. I don't ever have to log into QuickBooks again, which if you've ever logged in, you know is a huge pain, and I'm very happy to never have to look at it again. It will calculate things for me, it will tell me all the stuff. through stuff. I You So I have a lot of Claude skills now where I'm using QuickBooks, and it's been great. It looks like Zapier might use a lot of tokens, which could add up quick. Have you found that to be true? So I will say that I very quickly upgraded to the Max plan on Claude. You can see here the pricing. I pay $100 a month for Max. I have yet to hit my limit on the Max plan. Oh, Zapier pricing. Okay, I'll answer that in just a second, but I do think this is important too. I highly recommend you are at least on the pro plan of Claude, which is $20 a month. If you are going to become a power user like I was, you will probably quickly run into usage limits. And so like a lot of my weird hermit mastermind and I, we were in our Voxer thread being like, oh, I have to wait four hours because I ran. And out of, you know, usage and clod. And almost all of us have upgraded now. $100 a month, when I compare that to what it saves me in other expenses that I'm no longer having to spend or spend my time doing, is like the most no-brainer expense that I pay in my business. So it has definitely been worth it for me to be on the max plan. And I even pay for a separate plan for Rachel so that we can each have our own clod accounts. And she's on the $20 a month plan. Rachel, don't know, have you hit any usage limits since you've been using your own account there instead of sharing with me? 16:38 Rachel Silves - Team KK: No, I had no problems, but I haven't. I'm waiting to this training to set up all of my clod co-work stuff. So we'll see. 16:44 Kate Kordsmeier: . Okay, cool. The Zapier pricing, I haven't had any issues with that either. You can see my MCP test has only been 386. And I've been using this like extensively for the last month, especially. So I haven't had it. Any issues with that, Shelley? Zapier, I do pay, I'm on the 2,000 tasks per month plan, so and that comes with 1.6, just looking at what this says, I don't actually know. Your MCP usage counts towards your plan limit of 2K. Okay, so 386 MCPs, and that's going towards my 2K plan limit. So I'm fine with that for now. We'll see what changes. Okay, coming back to co-work. All right, so my morning briefing. I connected those tools. You can also connect Airtable, Game Changer. Now, don't even have to, again, don't even have to open any of these other apps now. Like, Claude is just doing everything for me, and it can cross-reference. It's going to look at, you know, something in Airtable and cross-reference it with my calendar and then cross-reference it with our ClickUp test. to thumbs Thank And then give me the thing that I need, which usually would have taken me even just like five minutes for me to pull all of those things myself, and now I just ask Claude for it, and it's just like boop, everything's there. So those are the connector pieces of it. The way to set up any task like this is to just start a conversation with Claude that says something like, I want you to give me a morning briefing every morning. And one of the things that I love to do is to say, ask me what you need to know in order to do this task really well. Like I showed before, Claude already does that on its own, but sometimes if you just give it that prompt, it will be extra thorough in making sure it knows what you want. So instead of it just like now going off and creating this morning briefing task, it's going to ask like, what kinds of things do you want included in your morning briefing? Here's a couple of suggestions that you might want included. And so I'm going to put. Let me just find the chat where I created the morning briefing. Interesting. Let's see. Maybe it's here. No, that's not the one. I will try to find it in a second, but in case for some reason it's gotten deleted or something happened to it, I basically just came to co-work. I started a conversation that said, give me my morning briefing, ask me what you need to know. It gave me suggestions of what I might want included, and then I said, yes, I also... I want like something that I follow as cyclical living. So I uploaded some of my cyclical living training to it so that it understood how I approach cyclical living. And then I said, I want to have a little report every morning that tells me like where I am in my cycle, what that might mean for me and my energy levels and what would be good tasks for me to work on today based on that. And it knows all of it because I gave it the IP of, you know, how that works. Of course, it's Claude, so it probably could have known a lot of that without me telling it. But now I know that it's like doing it based on how I personally think of cyclical living and not just like, you know, the world at large. So you can add trainings to it like that. You can add your own IP. And if you're using it just for something personal, like a morning briefing, it's not something that you're selling, you could probably upload other things. Like if you guys have access to my cyclical living training, you could upload like the mindful planning printables and be like, I want. I community To incorporate these into my morning briefing. So I just gave it things that I wanted. I thought about things that I was interested in, like, and maybe it's best to just like show you the example of what mine looks like. So once I kind of went back and forth with it, the description is that it goes through my calendar, my ClickUp tasks, my emails. It looks at my Airtable daily sales tracker. I want to know like what's the weather going to be today. I want some industry niche news. So I wanted to see, I'm following, you know, the creator economy, what's happening in AI, SEO, GEO, and, you know, anything, any news that would impact like coaches, course creators, et cetera. Apply the news also to my business and like what the insights, personal insights are for me there. I have the menstrual cycle check. I also want to say like just what's happening in the cosmos today. I'm not super into astrology. we're all in know, But sometimes like the big things, like just knowing like what phase the moon is in, for example, like that's kind of my version of this, like is mercury in retrograde, you know, just some of those kind of high level things. And then it gives me an energy read. So at the end of this conversation, I just said, create a skill for me that does this. And it created this morning briefing. So I didn't create any of this. I did not write these instructions. Claude wrote these instructions for me based on all of the information that I uploaded and told it to do. So you can see here, the cycle check-in, it's going to read this cycle tracker that it created for me, where I told it on day one, here's what day of my cycle I'm on when we're starting this. And then every time the morning briefing comes, until I start my next period, for example, I just am following that. Sometimes I'm checking in with it after it gives me the morning briefing, and I'll show you what that looks like to say, you know. So actually, so it gives me, sorry, I think I'm going out of order here. Let me come back here. It generated all of these instructions. So I didn't have to do any of this. I just told it what I was interested in. It figures out how to do all of it, right? And then I schedule the task. I tell it I want it to run every day at 6.30 a.m. Cool. So now every morning at 6.30, it's supposed to run. And if it didn't run for some reason, that's when I come in here and I click Run Now. So when it runs, it now creates this kind of new chat for us. And it's telling me what it's doing. It's using these integrations. It's gathering the data, blah, blah, blah. Then here's the morning briefing. And so you can either look at it directly in your window here or you can open it in your browser. So when you click that, it's going to take you to the browser view, which is here. And sometimes I like doing it like this just so you can really like see everything now. The first thing you guys are probably going to notice is that this is branded in Success with Soul, colors, it's not my exact fonts, but it is branded, it's beautiful, it's not just like this, right? Where it's just kind of telling it to you like this. I didn't want it to feel like I was just reading a bunch of text every morning. I wanted it to be more visual. So that is something that you have to tell Claude, and you do that in a couple different ways. So one of the first ways I did it was I just told it what my brand colors were, and I gave it some information about my branding. So it could be something as simple as you just typing in something like, sorry, my Zoom stuff keeps getting in the way of what I'm trying to click. Get out of here! My screen, here we go. Okay, so you can just come here and say, this is not working now. Guys, tech today, it's killing me. What am I doing? My screen. Can you guys see my screen anymore? Did that just stop sharing? 25:09 Rachel Silves - Team KK: It just stopped sharing. Okay, let's come back here. 25:14 Kate Kordsmeier: There, we can see it now. 25:16 Rachel Silves - Team KK: Okay, thanks. 25:19 Kate Kordsmeier: Okay, so you can come into the chat here and you could just say something like, my period actually started today. And then it will update the files to know that. So then the next time I come, it's going to say, you're on day one of your cycle. You're on day two. And it's going to reset. So you can always have those conversations with it after it gives you the briefing. But going back to the branding. So I think the best way to do the branding is to come into the chat and you can do it in co-work or chat and you can say like, I want I want this to be branded in my design palette for Success With Soul, which is very feminine, light, airy, spiritual, and a little bit woo-woo, okay? So I give it that, and then I have this text replacement of what my brand colors are. So I just wrote that in, my brand colors are, and here's the hex codes. So you can do that. You could even upload, like, if you have a brand board or if you have some visual elements and, like, decorative design pieces and stuff like that, you could just upload that to Claude. And then you could just say, turn this into a brand skill to match my theme. And then it's going to create a skill for you that is, like, your brand skill. So, for example, I'm not going to do this in real time because I've already done it. But if you come into skills, Zoom, you're driving me crazy. Get out of my way. If you come into... To skills, you can see I have this success with soul theme. So this skill here will show like this is my official brand design system to create artifacts, HTML pages, presentations, reports, briefs, whatever, dashboards. It's going to do that. So it's going to trigger it on phrases when I say like use my brand colors or style. The thing about skills that's really cool is that you don't even actually have to trigger the skill. Like it just knows. If I say create me a dashboard, it just knows it's got to read this theme skill. Again, I did not write any of this stuff. I literally just said to Claude, I want to create a brand theme skill. Ask me what you need to know in order to do this. And then it asks me, what are your colors? What's upload your logo? So I upload that. Here's some headshots. I updated some decorative elements, things that I use on our pages. I have. so these are all just like visual elements, logos, here's some referencing. So it's like every page must include the logo, one to two headshots of Kate, and two to three decorative elements. So now it knows every time it creates a page for me that these are the elements I want to include on the page. I talk about like, you can also upload screenshots of your existing pages. So sometimes I would literally just take like a full page screenshot of my homepage and be like, turn this into a brand skill. You can do something as simple like that and it will literally write all of this for you. So this is long. I didn't do any of this , okay? Claude wrote all of this for me. And now when I go to create something like the morning briefing, it's going to create it in that beautiful branded style. So that's how I get it to look like this. I don't have to tell it every time, no, wait, make sure it's branded. Like it just knows and it can do it anywhere in my entire Claude account. If I'm in chat, if I'm And then co-work, whatever, it knows to pull this skill. Okay, hold on, I see chat here. Should we create a branding skill so it always has that info? Yes, 100%, Shelley, do that. I've created a couple skills with Cloud Co-work and it really is so simple. I can't get over how simple it is. And then when you do it, it will literally say, like, it just pops up this little button that says copy to skills and you just click it and now it's just installed in your account. Like, it does it all for you. You get to talk to it just like a human that's like, I want, and maybe you don't even have your brand colors yet. And you're like, I don't know, but I really like hot pink and bright orange. And it will create a palette for you. Like it can do anything you want it to. It's amazing. So coming back to my morning briefing, you can see what I have in here now. Like I do batch days. So it knows today's Thursday. That's my tech and systems day. So it's going to remind me of that. It also knows because I've told it in previous chats. Like a lot of times, After it gives me the briefing, I'm then chatting with it and saying like, update this. Sometimes I'm saying make a change. Like I don't actually like the way that this is showing up or this was incorrect or you're pulling the wrong thing from ClickUp. Sometimes it does require some back and forth to get it right. And then sometimes I'm just saying like, I'm going out of town on spring break on Saturday. So it knows today is my last sprint day. I have to get everything done today because I head out on spring break on Saturday and I don't want to work while I'm there. So it's like adding that stuff in. It's telling me, Hey, it's a full moon in Libra. I'm a Libra. So whatever, for whatever that means. and so it, it knows all the stuff. It's like I gave it my zip code. So it's giving me the Atlanta weather report. and this is my focus, which it's like, again, telling me you leave Saturday. These are your last real workout hours this week. No pressure. And it's pulling things like based on my ClickUp and my email. emails and my calendar. It's saying like. Hey these are what we've determined are the most important things for you to do. And even that took a little bit of back and forth with me and Claude because I would have to say like sometimes it would be like you know reply to JC's email about some minor tech thing and I was like that is not actually the most important thing to do. So I would go back and I would say to the chat like in order to prioritize like the big three needs to be prioritized based on what's closest to cash, what's going to move the needle the most in my business, what's going to lead to the most revenue generating activities. It's not these like small little things right so even just telling it that then once I did now it gives me a much better sense of like what's actually important. I can click into every single one of these two like okay I need to write and upload the whole soul list. So if I want to just click into that task I can click here and it's just taking me directly to my ClickUp where my information about this task lives. So that's been really great. And once again my zoom bar is in the way and I cannot access what I need to access. Why zoom? Why? I'm gonna have to stop this again sorry y'all. Usually I can move it but it's not letting me move it when it's like getting in my in my space. Okay I'm moving this down so I can see it instead. All right so everything's clickable it's going into Airtable and it's saying here's what you made yesterday in and revenue here's how many orders that came from what the average order value was and it knows my goal is making eighteen hundred dollars a day so it's telling me how far away I was from the goal here's the gap it knows maybe why there's a gap like for example it says the challenge the new challenge ads excuse me the new challenge ads launched on Monday and so yesterday was day three you're still in the learning phase, like worth noting, might want to go check on your ads, etc. My favorite part is the news part. I have gotten so many good ideas for content, for ways I could position myself, for just like being a helpful resource to my community from these news articles. So it's showing me things like Instagram has a new feature called Your Algorithm, and it is actively curating and removing entire topic categories from people's feeds. So if your content doesn't fit a tight recognizable niche, users can and will simply make you disappear. Organic reach has already collapsed to five to seven percent of followers, Facebook is even worse, and so this is a permanent thing. So this is like, great, now it's also giving me this pitch hook that's like, Instagram reach isn't declining, it's dying by design. I left in 2021, here's what I built instead, and then I can direct people to any of these offers, for example. So it's just giving me such Great ideas and things that like, I'm not reading the news every day, I don't have time to go through all of that stuff, so it's giving me like, what's most important, and it knows because of its other memory of me too, like, what are the things that I would care about. It's looking at my calendar, it's giving me today's schedule, I've got emails that I need to respond to, here's my cycle check-in, and what's happening in the cosmos, and then I get like, kind of a little, sort of wrap up at the end, that's like, what's happening with your energy today, do this first, protect yourself from this, spring break starts in 48 hours, so this is my morning briefing, it has very quickly become like, my favorite way to start the day, I can't, I can't believe like, how much fun it is to have this ready for me, how much more like, prepared I feel for things, like, I just have really loved this, so I hope that this, if nothing else, you guys go and create your own morning brief. I based on the things that you care about, and it doesn't need to look exactly like mine, it needs to serve you and, like, again, what you care about. So, yes. Okay, let me check the chat. Do you recommend going all in on Claude instead of ChatGPT? Yes, 100%. I am only keeping my ChatGPT right now because custom GPTs are only available on the paid plan, like the ability to create custom GPTs. You can use custom GPTs from other people on the free plan, but to create them, you have to have a paid plan. So that's the only reason I'm keeping ChatGPT now, and I'm sure it is just a matter of time that Claude is going to come out with an alternative. There are Claude skills, and you can share skills with people, but they're not as protected as GPTs are, meaning once I give you the skill, you have it forever. It's a downloadable zip file, and then I don't have any control with what happens after. So for example, if somebody joins my membership and downloads the skill and then they leave, they still have access to that skill even though it should be just for people in the membership, for example. So a workaround that we found with custom GPTs with this was that you could kind of train it to be password protected and you could change the password every month. So that's kind of what we've been doing in the past with our GPTs. I can't do that with skills. I'm sure we'll find a workaround. But again, for right now, that's the only reason I'm keeping ChatGPT. There is literally not a single other thing that ChatGPT can do for me that Claude can't do and do better. So I am going all in. And I will say, I was on ChatGPT since 2022. Like ChatGPT launched in November 2022. I was like, I mean, I'm sure I wasn't one of the first users, but I feel like I heard about it and I love geeking out on tech. I was in. I remember spring break was in March of 2023. I remember like really learning more about it and being like, oh my God, I cannot believe this AI thing. This is crazy. And then I decided to go all in on ChatGPT. And I think that's why I kind of ignored Claude for a while was because I was really happy with ChatGPT. and once you start using it and you start using it a lot, like my whole life was in ChatGPT. Like it knew everything about me, which is, you know, maybe problematic. There's probably some like security and privacy things that I didn't consider at the time or like that I, especially now kind of knowing OpenAI's values that makes me be like, huh, they really do know everything about me. but then once I did start using Claude and I thought it was better, I wasn't like willing to leave ChatGPT because I felt like my whole life. My life is there. How could I ever migrate off of it? Like I don't even know where to start. And then Claude came out with this great prompt and memory export feature and I found some other prompts and ways that I could easily move things over and I just spent an afternoon and I rebuilt all of my personal GPTs inside of Claude's skills. That was really easy. I basically just gave Claude the custom instructions from the GPT and said, turn this into a Claude skill. Boom, done. So that took like two minutes per skill. And then, the rest, I had like different projects in ChatGBT and I would go into it and say, like there was a prompt that actually my friend Gemma Bonham Carter showed me that I can try to find the link to, but it was basically a prompt that just said, like, put this into a ChatGBT conversation that you want to move over. And so I just put it in my. And Like I had a family project and so it had all of my family information in it and I put it in there and then I just moved it over and like it would tell me, I would put the prompt in ChatGPT, it would spit back like here's all of my memory about all of this, I would copy paste that into Claude and say add this to your memory. And so it actually was a very easy process, it was not, and I had actually fun doing it again because it just was like helping me learn how Claude worked, it like immediately helped me see how much better Claude was, so it was very self-reinforcing, okay, looking at the chat, Zoom updated recently and it's such a pain, yes, I don't know what's going on, I still can't move the picture, like this, you know, everybody else on my screen is still up at the top blocking a bunch of stuff for me. Do you put your daily sales data into Airtable? Yes. Is there an automation that does that? Yes. My daily sales tracker is completely automated within Airtable, I don't have I to manually add anything to it and now Claude is going into the daily sales tracker and it's reporting back to me what the daily sales were and I could ask it questions like, who purchased yesterday or how many sales came from MBA versus the room? And it would be able to tell me that. So it's been really great. Shelley says, I have seen you sharing news in the school community more often. I think that's part of it and also because there's been some like really important news happening, especially around social media. So I've definitely been using this to help me. Go make it count, Kate. Love this. that was, is that the thing that gives me a little, little like motivational quote at the end? Usually it's better, honestly. Like sometimes it's, it's actually really good where I'm like, oof, I needed to hear that. Did you tell it something to get it to pull those specific news stories for you? So I think I answered this, Sarah, but let me know if you still have questions about Hope so. This is so awesome, I can't wait to connect Claude with my Notion second brain. Yes, Gemma uses Notion and she said like it's the Claude Notion connection is unbelievable. I feel the same way about the Claude ClickUp connection. I absolutely love ClickUp and it can create tasks in ClickUp for me. It can do basically anything that I want it to do, it can do. So it's like add this to my calendar, put this in ClickUp, assign this task to JC, like whatever, it's doing all of it for me. So again, this is things that ChatGPT couldn't do. ChatGPT was just a conversation where it might be like write me the task description to give JC to put into ClickUp and it might do that, but it wouldn't do the ClickUp task for you. So I feel like the ChatGPT talked about like its agentic abilities for a while and it never clicked for me. I could never figure out how to actually get it work and Claude just like blew it out of the water and was so intuitive right from the beginning. Okay, I'm assuming. I it works so well because it feeds from the other systems that you have had in place for a while and are very detailed in themselves. I think that's probably true. What are your top three favorite impactful connectors for someone starting out in their morning briefing? Oh, great question and very, very easy answer for me. So let me just come in to my connectors to show you guys. I would say Gmail, Google Calendar, and any kind of project management software you use. So for me, ClickUp. Those are like the three main things I feel like the morning briefing is really doing for me is it's like synthesizing what needs to happen today, what's coming up, what happened yesterday, you know, how do you need to show up today? So I think those three connectors for sure would be the top three. Okay, Imani says, OMG, I can't wait to upload the transcript from this call to Claude to get going. Exactly. See, that's exactly the way my brain thinks, too, is like, oh. show Okay. I got this great idea, let me just upload the transcript now and it will create my morning briefing for me based on like, I want to recreate Kate's morning briefing in my own account. Boom, it can do that for you. And then you can just customize it based on those things. I tried to get off ChatGPT last month and I couldn't break away. You can do it. I believe in you. Tori says, how do you upload other skills? I heard someone mention to upload Chris Hines marketing skills. So when you come into skills, there's a few ways you can create them. My favorite way to create skills has just been to... I'm sorry, I'm going to have to stop sharing again to get this thing out of my way. I'm just going to try one more time to see if... Oh, thank God. Okay, it's gone. Okay, so you can click this plus button to create a skill and it says create with Claude. That's how I have generally been doing it. I start chatting with Claude and I will create a skill from there and I can show you... I'll couple examples. Or you can upload a skill. So for example, if I were to give you my morning briefing skill, then you would download a zip file and then you would come here and you would click upload a skill and then you would just drag and drop the zip file here and now that skill would be in your account. So that's how a lot of people are selling or giving away skills right now. I follow a lot of YouTubers for AI advice and a lot of them give away free skills and it's literally as simple as that. And then when you open the skill, for example, you could say... Hey Kate, so sorry to interrupt. 44:40 Danyel LaGow: We're seeing the morning briefing. We are not seeing what you're clicking on. I thought it was just mine, but... Oh, thank you for interrupting. 44:48 Kate Kordsmeier: Fun, fun. You're welcome. 44:51 Danyel LaGow: Oh, God. 44:53 Kate Kordsmeier: Okay, are you seeing it now? Yes, there we go. 44:55 Danyel LaGow: Thank you. 44:56 Kate Kordsmeier: Sorry, guys. So what I was... So here is skills, click the plus button, create skill, and then you would just upload the skill and drag and drop that zip file here. Or you can go to create a skill and create with Claude. And this is where it literally started this conversation for me. Let's create a skill together using your skill creator skill. First, ask me what the skill should do. And so then you could do this and then like, let's come up with a skill, like let's create one here together. This will be a great like watch me build example. So somebody tell me in the chat, what's a skill you would want to create? And it needs to be something I don't already have because I don't want to duplicate something I already have. Let me know in the chat, what's a good idea for a skill? I'll pull up what skills I have too. So maybe it will trigger something for you. You can see all of my skills here. I know there's a few that I've been watching. I'm trying to think what they are now. There's also, okay, I think this came from, I think when you come into skills, there's already a couple that are there, like this skill creator, which was added by Anthropic. And so you didn't, I didn't have to create this, this just knows like how to create a skill. And so now it follows this process every time it creates a skill. Okay, generate Pinterest posts. Okay, sure. I don't have something like that yet. Let's try it. So we're going to come back here. And I'm just going to click enter because it's, we're going to just like follow this process all the way through. So it's going to do a little bit of thinking because it's got to run that skill. So this. is the skill creator skill, a little meta, and then it's going to ask us, okay, loaded and ready, what should this skill do? So I'm just literally going to copy, well, it's not letting me copy, generate Pinterest posts. Okay, so I'm telling it to generate Pinterest posts. This is just a rough idea. It'll ask us the follow-up questions. Okay, what kind of Pinterest posts? Pin descriptions only, pin titles and descriptions, or also direction on the image or graphic itself? Y'all answer in the chat, too, because I'm not really on Pinterest, so I'm like, I don't know, Imani, especially because this was your idea, tell me what you want to create. And I'll give you guys the skill afterwards, I'll let you download it if you want to add it to your account afterwards, since we're creating it together. So I make coloring books, so I post pages, like pages of the coloring books, I assume is what you mean. So let's just say. Okay, let's do pin descriptions and titles and also create the image or graphic itself using my Canva connector. I will typically give you a blog post or some kind of source content that you can create from, and the goal is to drive traffic to whatever the pin is for, which will be a mix of blog posts, lead magnets, and sales pages. Definitely want to make sure the pins are, the descriptions are keyword rich for SEO, and I don't really know what the Pinterest best practices are in 2026, so if you can do a little bit of research on that, that would be great. And I do use Pinterest for fresh content and repurposing existing posts, but I don't use anything like Tailwind Scheduler. Alright, so... So y'all are seeing also, this is Whisperflow, which I've been raving about, I just dictated that in, and you see it formatted everything for me, it got all the words right, it knew how to, Canva was a proper noun, things like that, it's amazing. So I'll drop the Whisperflow, which I just do like this, My Flow Referral, and it just had that little snippet saved, so if you check the chat, you have my referral link to get one month off Whisperflow, if you want to try it, it's my favorite, and also they have a free plan that gets you very far, so you don't even have to pay for it eventually. All right, so now Claude is doing this, it's thinking, it's searching the web, because I asked it to do some, like, I don't know what the best practices for Pinterest are, so figure that out for me. So it's doing that, and we'll come back to this, because sometimes it does take a few minutes. Let's go back to that other. Claude co-work tasks that I had, which was about cleaning up my desktop. So we left off as it was doing the work and it says, I see eight existing folders that are already organized and you have 24 loose files, almost all screenshots. that tracks. Who else has like screenshot graveyard on their desktop? It is insane. okay. . Hope says, yep, same. So it just put everything into a folder called screenshots. it added some things to work, to a work folder. This is an idea. Okay. Done. Your desktop now has only folders, no loose files. So I'm looking at my desktop here. I think you guys can see it cause I'm sharing my whole screen, but you can see now everything's just been organized into these nice clean files. And if I wanted to come into this screenshot, I can see this. let's look at this as icons. So I. I can see all of the screenshots here, and what I could now ask it to do is, can you rename the screenshots based on what they are so I can decide which I need to keep and which can be trashed? All right, great. So now it's going to go do that for me. And I know. Isn't it amazing? so you can just, you can have it do anything on your desktop. mean, this is literally like the most basic use case, too, of what Claude Co-Work can do. So if this is blowing your mind, just wait until we get to some of the other, like, insanity here. All right, let's come back, see how this skill is doing. Okay, it's still working. So I'm going to come over to my scheduled task and let's look at some more scheduled tasks that I have going. One of my favorites is this email, triage, and draft. So this literally goes through my inbox. It knows who the people on my team are. It knows what you It it's like categorized things into buckets of like which things need responses, which things are things that can just be skipped. I don't need it to tell me, you know, you got DMARC aggregate reports. Like, I don't give a . Get those out of my, out of my site. and then it's going to draft replies for me. So again, I just went to Claude. I started a new conversation and I said, I need your help triaging my inbox, labeling things that need to be responsible. I to, starting to write the draft for me, and organizing things more in my inbox. So you can see here, this is using the Gmail connector, but it's also using that Zapier MCP because, the regular Gmail connector couldn't do all the same things that, and mostly it was finding emails and labeling them, that the regular Gmail connector could not do. So Claude writes all the instructions for me, and now let's take a look at an example. So here's the email triage for today. It does give me kind of like a response here because I'm not asking it to give me like, I don't need a dashboard for this one, right? Like this is just telling me here's what needs your response. And if I were to actually go into these emails, the draft is already in Gmail for me. I don't have to copy paste this. So the draft is already there. It's like giving me a direction to like this would be a good one to hand off to JC. Rachel is going to handle these. These emails and I skipped these emails. So you could also be like, wait, did you skip ones that I might actually care about? So this is a good way to kind of just like do a very quick scan and go, okay, no, I don't care about those. And then in this case, I got this weird email from Meta about having some pixel issue. And I was like, wait, what is happening? I don't understand. So then I was troubleshooting what's going on with my Meta pixel code, which I won't bore you guys with. So that is just a task that is done. And now. Now when I come into my inbox, actually I maybe don't want to show you my inbox because there might be like private email addresses and stuff that I don't want to share, but if I were to share my inbox with you, you would see that I have like four emails open, there's drafts ready, and now I can get through my emails in like five minutes a day and it's the best. So I love this, and I really only answer emails on Mondays, because otherwise, you know, you could just spend all day in your inbox, although this helps a lot, so in my, in the 1k day experiment I showed you guys a couple weeks ago, I was like, I haven't answered emails in nine days, let's see how fast I can get through all of this, and thanks to everything we set up here, I got through it all in like 32 minutes of, of nine days of emails, so that was amazing. So that's one of my scheduled tasks. I also have an end of day wind down, which is very similar to my, morning briefing, except it's what's happening at the So let's open this in my browser and you guys can see what this looks like. So this was generated at 5 p.m. So it's not always accurate. I had only made $970 by 5 p.m. yesterday, but you can see from my morning briefing that by the end of the day, I actually made $1,341. So sometimes there's a discrepancy, but it makes sense why it is. But it gives me what happened today, what tasks were done. This is funny. I hadn't actually gone into ClickUp to mark the tasks as complete, so it's like nothing was done today. But I did actually do a lot of writing yesterday, so that was done. What's carrying over to tomorrow? I am having an issue with this. It keeps pulling really outdated ClickUp tasks. So you can see like this woman, Carrie, hasn't worked on my team since like 2021. So I don't know why. why. It's pulling that, but what I would do is I would come back into this end-of-day wrap-up and I would say, you're still pulling really outdated tasks from ClickUp back from 2021, I need you to make sure that you are using the proper filtering so that you're only looking at tasks that have due dates this week or next or that are overdue and that are assigned to me specifically. So I just tell it that and then I just pop it here and then, in theory, it should fix that for the next report. So then we'll come back over here and just look at the rest of this end-of-day report. These are some email loose ends, like these are emails that you got into your inbox today, some things that you might want to take a peek at. So I can see also if it's like, oh shoot, I really do need to prep for that webinar, that's really important, but like I could probably get to Rachel's invoice tomorrow. Sorry, Rachel. So, you know, it just kind of gives me. The things that are like what's most important versus things that could wait until the next day. Then it's giving me tomorrow's preview because I always like to know like, okay, I'm finishing up work for the day. What's on deck tomorrow? So it gave me what's happening tomorrow. It gave me a win of the day. So we're doing a JV webinar with my friend Gemma in a couple weeks. And so it's like celebrating that that is all set up now and we're ready to go. And then again, it's giving me like a little pep talk motivation in that you did enough, Kate. Tomorrow is a full day. Protect your 10 a.m. execution block before it disappears into calls for tonight. Close the tabs. Feed the people. Maybe pet Fergus. The business will be here in the morning. So I love it. It's just like such a nice way to close out the day. It looks like a couple other people are saying in the chat they also have screenshot graveyards. Amani says, can see upgrading to Max, but honestly being forced to take a four hour break. from talking to Claude and actually executing wouldn't be the worst thing. except that Claude is executing, so sometimes it's like, oh, I was in the middle of doing this thing for me and now it has to stop. Now I have to go do the work. So that's so funny. Kaylee hit her limit started at the beginning of this meeting. Love it, Kaylee. Okay, so in that discussion now, it's asking me like, okay, it's gonna resolve this for ClickUp in the future, so I have to just approve a couple of things that it's going to do in my ClickUp account. So that just is kind of a normal thing. And I will say, like, Claude is a little bit slower than ChatGPT, but I think it's because the quality is so much better. Like, it's actually thinking through what you need to do and how to make it work for you. And I feel like ChatGPT just started getting like so generic. And so it was giving you like instantaneous answers, but it was like, this doesn't even make sense. Or like, you know, I just felt like the output was, was bad. So, okay, I know we're at the top of the hour. I can go for 30 more minutes. I still have some more things to show you guys. So if anybody wants to stay, we'll keep going. I've got my weird hermit's call at 2.30. So I can go until then. All right. So now it fixed this. Kate's ClickUp user ID is this. The tasks already exist. Let me update this with the correct ClickUp filtering. So anyway, blah, blah, blah. It's doing that. Let's come back over here. When it gives you the blue dot, it means it's ready for you. So I come back over here and it's asking me, I have everything I need. Claude wants to use running command. Okay. I don't know what that means, but I'm going to just say, sounds good. So I should probably pay a little bit more attention to like some of the things that it's asking you. I do when it's like more. Like, could really mess something up, but as you guys saw, if you watched my Loom tutorial of the income report skill that I created, it did mess up some stuff for me inside of WordPress, so I am going to pay closer attention to some of those things moving forward, and I think, like, we were talking about this in a call recently, too, that all tech stuff is, like, use at your own risk, right? Like, it does make me a little nervous at sometimes that, like, oh, it can control my desktop. Like, what if it just, like, wiped everything? Or what if it did something I didn't want it to do? That's why I'm at least trying to back up to the cloud and, like, to things where I could restore things. And I'm trying to use, like, just specific folders rather than everything. Oh, see? Wouldn't be a tutorial if something didn't go wrong. We're just going to try this again. Again, it's probably my internet or something funky happened. But. I just, I do feel like I should give that caveat of like, use at your own risk, the things that you're connecting it to, you know, just be careful of like, what it could do. I do feel like, clearly from the news, Claude is much more protective of like, prioritizing security and privacy than OpenAI, so that feels important to me also. All right, so here we go. The skill is drafted. Before I run test cases, I want to show you the plan and make sure it looks right. So here's what the skill does. It takes the source content and produces three pin variations per source, each with a different angle, problem solution, how to, permission reframe, plus creates a Canva graphic using your existing Pinterest template, which it already knows because I've connected Canva and done this in the past. Every pin gets a title, description with hashtags, board recommendation, and destination URL. Like, what is this witchcraft? This is amazing. Okay, here's the angles, here's the three test cases I'd like to run. So, So do these look realistic? Once you confirm, I'll spin them up and we can look at the output together. Write pins for my anti-social SEO course, make some Pinterest pins for my blog post about growing your email list without social media, create pins for my free SEO checklist lead magnet. Okay, so let's say, yep, that looks great, except for number three, I want it to create pins for my algorithms anonymous lead magnet. And then I'll just give it the URL for that. It already knows the URLs from these other things. All right, so then I'm just gonna send it that and see what happens. Let's come back over here and see if there's something going on. All right, viewed 18 of the 24, got all of the screenshots, let me rename everything and now it's running that command. So, I know, it's amazing, isn't it, Imani? I can't get over All right, here's the three tests, setting those up now, running all six sub-agents, three with the skill, three baseline, launching all six runs simultaneously. So the one thing I noticed here, which I'm sort of curious about, is that it didn't give me the skill. So I wonder if it's going to do it after it does the test or if it's normally it does the skill first and then we do the test. So I kind of want to see if I come over to customize and look at skills. Okay, I don't see Pinterest. So I don't think it has actually created the skill yet. . So we'll see what it comes up with at the end here. okay. Start editing in Canva. Yep. And that's just all happening because I just added the Canva Connect. Back to Back. Back. And then in a past conversation, I said to it, these are the Pinterest templates that I currently use. So use these for future Pinterest posts or future pins, whatever they're called. So it already knows to do that, which is why it's like, I didn't have to tell it that again. And again, this is where I feel like Claude's memory is, feels very superior to ChatGPT. All right, that's still working. Let's come back over here. Look at this. It renamed all 24 of my screenshots and it's giving me probably trash immediately. These are just like a bunch of, you know, weird things that I probably will never need again. Then it's telling me what I should probably trash once I'm done with something and likely keepers. And now if I go to this screenshots folder, you can see all of the things have been renamed and I can see like, okay, this was the Claude CTFR. . Screenshot that I did. And this is an Airtable daily sales tracker dashboard. All these things that now make it so easy for me to be like, okay, I could, I mean, honestly, let's be real. Most of our screenshots can be deleted after they're used once, but super helpful and just gives you an idea of what other kinds of tasks Co-Work could do for you. All right, customized, let's come, scheduled, I mean, let's come back to scheduled. I want to show you a couple more. So I have this one, my monthly content performance review. So I set this up by, on the first Friday of every month, I wanted to give me a GEO scored content performance review using my Google Search Console data and this framework that I gave it. And it's going to save to a branded HTML report. Okay. So this one blew me away. I'm going to see, for some reason, the The past one isn't showing there, so I'm going to see if I can search for it and find it. Let's see, email campaign, now let's search GEO, I wonder, let me just scroll here for a minute, y'all, and see if I can find what I'm looking for. Okay, this is just an example of what it normally gives you after it creates a skill. So it creates a skill for you, and you literally just click save skill, and then it just is added to your account. So that's what I was expecting, the Pinterest one that we were doing to do. But I wonder if they've updated the process and now it's happening a little bit differently. Maybe it's going to occur after the test. So we'll see. okay. This is not what I was looking for. So, I really, let me see if I can find this. Let me just stop sharing for a second. Amuse yourselves for a minute while I try to find what I am looking for. 1:08:24 Rachel Silves - Team KK: If you have time, Kate, will you show us how you updated the email list love course in the portal, and how you built out that beautiful HTML lesson? 1:08:36 Kate Kordsmeier: Yes, maybe, but that might be too much of a sneak peek. I really want to find this report. Answer Spotlight. Okay. Okay, y'all. I can't find what I was going to show you, but I could potentially run that task now and see if it will create what we need. Okay, let me come back to share my screen. I'm to share everything. Okay, so I'm running this right now. It's probably going to take a few minutes. I'm going to show you a couple other things that I have used to create different kinds of reports in Claude that could be helpful for y'all. So one of the things I was going to show you is pages. I gave Claude, this was like my first experience with it building a web page for me. And I literally just went into just regular Claude chat and I said, I want to build out a media kit so that I can send it to... Potential Partners to Secure $25,000 Contracts, here's a couple stats from past sponsorships, and create me a web page. It was literally like a four sentence max prompt. And this is what it built me. And this is a sponsor, like a media kit page to send to sponsors. It built the entire page for me. This is just an HTML page. So you could just copy paste this HTML code into your page builder. It shows, it knew all the things about me already. So it knew like, get it done week and my MBA and like my, our different offers. And, you know, a couple things it had to ask me is like, I put placeholders in for how many monthly blog sessions you get. Let me know how that actually compares. So I would tell it like, okay, actually, that's not right. It created this little case study based on the stats that I gave it. I mean, this page is beautiful. It's something that would have taken me either hundreds or thousands of dollars to pay a contractor to build or hours and hours of my time to build. It actually feels like better than anything that we could have built. It's got the packages and the pricing here. And then I could just go in and say like, oh, actually in this section, number three should say build instead of create. And then it would just change that for me. So you can customize everything after the fact. So this is just an HTML page that Claude Code built for me in like maybe three minutes. completely customizable. I'm starting to do this with our emails too, trying to build out some HTML templates so that you can just go into Claude and say, okay, use the template for our whole soul list. Here's the copy, build out the email, and then I can just copy paste the HTML code directly into Kartra's email builder. . So. And I think this is just going to make everything so much more visually appealing and like it's just amazing how quickly it can get done. Again, you have to have like your theme scale built out for it to be really branded. And again, there's like some things that aren't perfect, like this isn't actually, you know, what my logo looks like in the fonts. I can give it the things to make it better, but there's also a part of me that for some of these things I'm like, good enough, are you kidding? Like, no sponsor is going to look at this and be like, ooh, the script font was weird in the logo. They're going to look at this and be like, holy cow, look at the results that she just got this person, Forex estimated return on investment. Here's a testimonial from, you know, the actual sponsor. So I think it's just absolutely amazing and I've been using it to build lots of different pages. This is an example, I was noticing that my ad was not converting as well. And so I was like, can you rebuild this tripwire page for me again? Again. I haven't edited this at all, it literally just created this for me and I'm not sure if I'm going to use it or not, but it built this, it adds in like the timer, it has the post, it's got pictures of me built in and quotes and it's I mean it's like built out the entire page and it did this in seconds and I really didn't give it much information at all so I imagine like how much better it could be if I gave it more context of what exactly what I wanted. But all I did was I gave it the original URL and said, can you improve this page and build me an HTML version? And this is what it gave me. So I'm like, we're going to be redoing a lot of our pages and building new ones to get like a new, you know, oh I'm going to run a last minute thing to get a new lead magnet page up or whatever, like it's going to be so, so fast now. I just think it's going to be amazing. This was a competitor intelligence report. So So this is something that I just created. I think this is, let me come back to Claude real fast and also I feel like this is going to ask me something. Okay. You can see right now, you see this is saying Claude started debugging this browser and it opened this own window and it's in my Google Search Console right now. It's doing this while I'm doing this other stuff and showing you. Claude is running this tool. It's pulling my Google Search Console data for me. I am not doing anything with it. So I just want you to see like the capabilities of what it can do. So in my scheduled tasks, I have weekly competitor Intel. And so what I wanted it to do is I subscribe to dozens of newsletters. I rarely have time to read most of them. I wanted it to scan those roll ups. If you've taken our AI Your Inbox course, you know I use Leave Me Alone to roll up my newsletters into different categories. And so I wanted it to scan those roll-ups. I wanted it to do a web search and see what are industry leaders in my niche doing right now? What are they saying? What are they seeing? What kind of stuff are they releasing? I wanna see what's happening in my industry. I wanna see where are there some angles for me to either collaborate with these people, to do my own thing, to get inspiration and then create this branded HTML report that I can look So this is an example of one of those reports. And it's showing me like, here's a stat. You're spending 20 hours a week to reach 7.6% of people who already chose to follow you. This is like a new news stat that just came out. And it's like showing me right here, like this is something I should definitely be talking about with my audience. So this is looking at, you know, some different authors, some people that I follow, like just things that they're talking about. And then it's It's giving me an angle for how I could talk about this. This is all about what's happening with the jury case with Meta in California losing $6 million for damaging kids' mental health. So it's giving me information about that. This is telling me some other course creators that are adjacent to what you're doing. This is what they've been doing in their business. And this is because it's either reading the emails that I get from these people and pulling out things for me to watch, or it's doing research online and saying, OK, I went to YouTube and I saw that these two people were posting about this this week. So this is something to pay attention to. I also want to know what's happening in the ads world. So I want to make sure I'm on top of any updates with Meta and Andromeda stuff. What do I need to know to make sure that I'm running good ads? So again, it's like following those people that I told it to. Like these are the folks that I follow. And trust for ads advice. So go check out what they're doing. again, it's giving me some news I can use. and just ideas. And then what's, what's kind of happening in general this week. So this is kind of similar to like the news section in my monthly debrief, but it's a little bit more focused on, I don't even like the word competitor cause I don't really believe in competition that way, but just like show me what's, what's happening right now. Like what's oversaturated right now. What's just getting started. What's, what's the top thing happening in the industry. And so this is kind of synthesizing like the week as a big picture rather than like each day, it's kind of just giving me like, here's a news story for today, or here's like something happening, you know, at a time. So look at this, New Mexico handed Meta a $375 million verdict for predator failures on Instagram. And it's like, Oh my gosh. What could I be doing with this kind of news that I've just been missing in the past because it just hasn't been top of mind for me? So how can you apply this to your own industry and niche and stuff that's happening in your world? Okay, let me check the chat. seeing a few things. Okay, Carina says, how do you do your graphics? Most of my graphics I make, I don't really make them with Claude. I make most of my graphics with Notebook LM. And I do sometimes use Nano Banana. But I would say most of my graphics are coming from Notebook LM these days. I definitely have done some graphics with ChatGPT. They're fine. But I would say Nano Banana and Notebook LM are my two graphic choices right now. And I guess Canva. mean, Canva, I haven't had as much luck with like their AI tools for creating graphics, but I do still like... I'll give you the transcript. I'm not sharing prompts at this time, but we are, Rachel and I have plans to do a big makeover for the Mindful Business Academy, adding all of this AI stuff, adding Claude skills, adding our prompts, adding like lots of pieces to it so that MBA becomes more of a like, install this system in your business rather than watch 300 hours of videos and learn how to do it. So it definitely is coming this year. Keep an eye out. We'll definitely be making announcements about it. Imani says, Kate, how do you find this working with Kartra? I've been doing these HTML pages a lot, but I've started hosting the web pages outside of Kartra. Same. I have not found Kartra to be great with it, but what I have found is that if you go back to Claude and you say, like, I'll take a screenshot and I'll say, here's what's happening in Kartra when I publish the HTML. And it will often say like, oh, I see what's happening, Kartra is applying its own wrapper to this page, and so we need to just redo the HTML to account for that. So mostly I've been doing them in WordPress, and that's been better, but it's not perfect. I know some of my friends have been doing it in lead pages, and they've been having a lot of success with that, but that's like a whole other fee. I think we're right at the forefront of this, and so I wouldn't buy any new tools or like spend too much time. I think all of these brands are going to have to get on board or go out of business. And so like I've already been talking to ShowIt and saying like, this is ridiculous that I can't just publish an HTML page here. Like you guys are going to have to do this if you're, you know, going to stay in business. And they're like, we are actively working on it. And so I think it's coming very soon, but I think it's still like very early days of it. doing it. and I have heard that by uploading the HTML on your server via FTP, and then the button goes to cart for checkout. Exactly. I do think that's like the most seamless way to do it, but it's also like the most tech expertise required to do that. So I would love to be able to just like copy paste the HTML into a HTML block, and then it just works. So that's what I'm going to be looking for. Okay, Danielle says, what step do you take once it creates the new HTML page for you? Where do you put it? Okay, so that was basically the same question. So let me know if there's follow ups there, Danielle. How do you prompt Notebook LM on the design of your graphics? I'm going to save that for another conversation, because this is really all about Claude and we've only got four minutes left. Maybe our next watch me build will be Notebook LM. I think that would be great because I use it all the time and I love it. And it serves a very different purpose than Claude. time. Interesting. I doubt it would replace Kartra because Kartra does like it's an email service provider. It's a checkout system. It's a course hosting platform. What I will show you, which Rachel asked me to, and I will show you guys that I was able to get Kartra inside the membership to do this portal for our welcome sequence that's happening. And so I want to show you what this looks like. And Claude helped me build this. Now it's trained on all of my IP. It's not like Claude came up with the content. I came up with the content, but I gave it to Claude. And now look at what this beautiful lesson looks like for the welcome series. And it's got all of the content in here now. And it's so much easier to read. next time. you next time. It's so much more helpful. It's like then just seeing a big wall of text. And so I've been like obsessed with this. It even has like drop downs. So when you're working on the seven email sequence, what's it going like? What is each email supposed to include? So this is coming. And we also have an artifact that I built with Claude that's going to generate your welcome sequence for you. And it's going to critique your welcome sequence once you've kind of made your human edits and are ready to use it. You can upload it back to this artifact and get your critiques. And it's all trained on like our best practices for emails. So, okay, yes, let's go back because we only have two minutes left to that Pinterest skill. Let's see where we are here. I wish it would sometimes like give you a pop up that it's like needs you to approve something because sometimes you don't really. I realize that it's been waiting on you this whole time. Tara, I'm so excited for April's Get It Done Week, too. If you're not inside the room and you liked what you just saw and you want to improve your welcome sequence, definitely come join us. This Get It Done Week is going to be fire. And I feel like now that I have these tools, it's going to help me make the Get It Done Week so much better and easier for y'all to actually implement the thing and do the thing. so I'm really excited about it. okay, so the Pinterest thing, it has looked at this, you can see the 20 pages that are in my templates. It's saying, okay, I think these pages will be best for the pins that we're doing right now. It's getting the element IDs, all nine edits succeeded, getting the thumbnails. Okay, and then sometimes it will do this, compacting our conversation so we can keep chatting. So Claude Claude has. This a much larger, I forget what they call it, like memory window, token window, it's something like that, where then ChatGPT, like you can have a longer conversation with it doing more things than you can inside of ChatGPT. And one of the reasons that it does this is because it can compact the conversation as you're going so you don't have to like start a new thread. So I really love, love that feature too. While that's going, let's come back here. Of course you guys know I'm not going to leave you hanging. I'll be a few minutes late to my meeting so we can get this. Let's look here at this report that it just gave me because this review, if it's anything like the last one, is going to blow your socks off. So this looked at my Google Search Console for my blog and it's showing that, it's showing, it's giving me a report of what's working and what's not. So it can see, here's your traffic snapshot, here are your top performing pages. Here's what needs attention. And like, look at this. This is saying, this is a GEO score of 39 out of 100 for this affiliate programs post. Here's what's wrong with it. Here's what you can do to fix it. So then I could give this to either Claude and say, okay, great, go fix these things for me. Or I could give it to a VA or do it myself, whatever. I could have somebody go in and like, it's identified. These are the top pages that would make the most improvement for you. It's given me this optimization scoreboard. So I can see, wow, these are the pages that are like getting the most impressions, but not the most clicks. And it's giving me scores for each of these things. And now it's giving me an action plan. So I can see, this is a high priority post. You can make these quick changes to the post. And like this single post gets 33,000 impressions per quarter, but the click through rate is 0.1%. So it's telling me like, these are what, this is that way you could do to improve this post so that. You'll actually be able to benefit more from, like this post is ranking, it's being seen in the search results page, but people aren't clicking it. So here's what you could do to change it. Same thing for these other posts, based on the GEO skill, it knows, like these are the best practices for a ranking, and so it's giving me those. Here's some content opportunities. These are queries that have impressions, but I don't have a dedicated page. And so it's showing me, like, these are areas where I have a content gap. And it says, like, for example, this one, the existing Karcher versus GoHighLevel post is appearing for this reverse query, but not converting. A title or meta-optimization to capture GoHighLevel versus Karcher phrasing, in addition to the current Karcher versus GoHighLevel, could capture impressions that are currently going to zero. So maybe what that's basically saying is like, I need to reverse the order of this. Anyway, that's kind of a strange example. And, you know. Take everything with a grain of salt, I'm not sure that I would actually agree with that, but this is the example of the kind of report, like once you have these other skills built in, then you can have it be doing audits and be giving you reports of areas for improvement of all of your things, so I'm really, I think that's just like, it's just all of it, it's just blowing my mind. Okay, what happened here? Now this looks like it's going back. Okay, I'll stay on for a couple more minutes. Let me know, was that helpful? What did you feel like, you know, this is our very first Watch Me Build. I really want to know how it landed for you guys. I'm going to stop sharing for a second and we'll see if that speeds up my computer at all as it's kind of trying to process that. But how was this for you guys? Where's the price of admission, 10x. Okay, I love Love it, Imani. Yes, Rebecca, my mind is blown. So good. What's the first thing you're going to go implement? I want to know. And tell us, like, what do you want to see for future Watch Me Builds? Like, maybe we have more Claude stuff coming, I'm sure. Notebook LM. helpful to see what's possible. Upload the transcript, build your own, cancel ChatGPT. I love that plan for you, Imani. So good. Skills in Claude. You're voting Notebook LM, Rach? . Awesome. What are you going to implement first? 1:29:35 Rachel Silves - Team KK: Maybe the email triage, although I think I've got the email system, like, one thing I was kind of thinking about, Kate, is, like, there's oftentimes a lot, a couple different ways to do things. Like, I think the email triage system that I have is actually going pretty well, but... 1:29:48 Kate Kordsmeier: I know, I do too. so maybe that, and maybe the morning briefing, I like that idea a lot. 1:29:53 Rachel Silves - Team KK: And then I have an idea for, like, helping me respond to the monthly check-ins and the intake forms that I want to build some stuff. I think it would be really cool. So that's what I'm excited for. 1:30:03 Kate Kordsmeier: awesome. Okay, Hope says she's going to get Claude's skills set up and then connect to Notion and email triage. create it for clients. Well, right. mean, so one of like that SEO report, for example, that I just gave, like if you help clients with blog content, for example, like that's a report that you could have Claude generate and then you could go in and of course, like add your own stuff. Like I am very much like Claude, all AI tools are amazing. They're usually not just like give it a simple prompt, copy, paste. Like I think a lot of them still require and should always require there to be human intervention. And so, like adding your own and sometimes that human intervention is just like training it on your IP, right? And sometimes it's taking it a step further, like human review, human edits, and then going back and forth with it. So it's a conversation. . . Okay, let me check the Pinterest thing. It's still loading. I'll come back to you guys, I promise. I'll post it in the Telegram channel. So if you're not in Telegram, only like a third of our 1k a day members are in Telegram. Recap

Meeting Purpose

Demonstrate Claude's CoWork features and scheduled tasks for business automation.

Key Takeaways

  • Migrate from ChatGPT to Claude: Claude's superior output quality, agentic capabilities, and privacy focus make it the recommended AI for business.
  • Automate with CoWork: Use Claude's desktop app to automate tasks like daily briefings, email triage, and content audits by connecting to your tech stack (e.g., ClickUp, Airtable, GSC).
  • Brand with Skills: Create a "Brand Skill" by uploading your brand assets (logo, hex codes, style guide). Claude then automatically applies this branding to all generated reports and pages.
  • Build HTML Pages Instantly: Generate full, branded HTML pages (e.g., media kits, tripwires) from simple prompts, saving significant time and cost.

Topics

Why Claude Over ChatGPT?

  • Superior output quality, especially for complex tasks.
  • Agentic capabilities: CoWork executes tasks directly on your computer, connecting to and controlling your apps.
  • Privacy and security: Anthropic's focus on safety and privacy.
  • Easy migration: a simple prompt exports ChatGPT's memory, which is then pasted into Claude to build new Skills.

Claude CoWork: The Desktop App

  • Local execution: CoWork runs on the desktop app and can control your computer and apps.
  • Scheduled tasks: automate recurring tasks (e.g., daily briefings) with the /schedule command. Limitation: tasks only run when the computer is awake; a "Run Now" button exists.
  • Connectors: native (Airtable, Canva, ClickUp, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, PayPal, Stripe) plus Zapier MCP for 8,000+ apps.

Core Automation: Scheduled Tasks

  • Morning Briefing: a daily branded HTML report synthesizing calendar, ClickUp, Gmail, the Airtable sales tracker, weather and industry news, trained on Kate's cyclical-living framework.
  • Email Triage & Draft: scans the inbox, categorizes emails, drafts replies; cuts daily email time from hours to minutes.
  • End-of-Day Wind Down: revenue, completed tasks, upcoming schedule, loose ends.
  • Monthly Content Performance Review: Google Search Console analysis with content gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Weekly Competitor Intel: newsletters and web searches for trends, competitor activity and content angles.

Building & Using Skills

  • Use the "Skill Creator" skill: describe the function, answer clarifying questions, Claude writes the skill.
  • Example built live: a Pinterest post generator (pin titles, descriptions, Canva graphics).
  • Example: desktop cleanup (organize files, rename screenshots).

Advanced Output: HTML Page Generation

  • Generate full branded pages (media kits, tripwire pages, course lessons) from prompts and paste into page builders. Kartra often applies its own wrapper, so host externally or adjust by hand.

Next Steps

  • Kate: share the Pinterest skill zip in the Telegram channel once complete.
  • Participants: download the Claude desktop app (Pro or Max), create a Brand Skill, build a Morning Briefing task with Gmail, Calendar and a PM tool.
