Watch Me Build: The $1k/Day Experiment App in Lovable

So I always go over time on these. I have a hard stop at 90 minutes. So we're just I'm just going to get into this and I would love if you're here live, if you could interact with me while I'm doing this. I'm basically going to be rebuilding the way that we deliver the one K day experiment into an app. I'm going to be building it in lovable with help from Claude. And as one K day members, I want to know, like, yes, I like this. No, I don't like this. I'm definitely going to have to make decisions about how things look and how I want this to work. So please share in the chat. I'm going to go ahead and share my screen. Let me make sure I'm sharing the right window. Okay. And then let me just get all these other Zoomy things out the way. Okay. So I am basically starting from scratch, except that I did get this idea while I was in Santa Fe in early June. So I had this chat going and all I really did in the first part of this chat, mean, you can see here, I basically just said, thinking of turning the 1K Day Experiment into an app. Oh, and I did want to show you all that I do have a project in Cloud called the 1K Day Experiment, where I upload all of the diaries. So that like when I ask it questions and like when I need it to give me answers to things like that, it can read through all the diaries in one place. Okay. So I just wanted to show I'm in that, I'm in that project. I started this chat. that's terrible. Okay. Thank And I just said, I want this to be easier for folks to consume and find things. I want them to be able to get alerted, listen to audio versions. What do you imagine something like this could look like? So Claude gave me a bunch of ideas. I was like, well, that's a little different. Anyway, we went back and forth. I don't want to, like, bore you with some of those details. I just want you to see that, like, I didn't build anything yet. In this space, I'm just brainstorming with Claude. I'm just like, how would this work? What do you think we could do for this? I have, I'm, one of our struggles is with that. So we're just going back and forth talking about this. And then I did ask it to give me a mock-up of what it could look like. So it didn't build anything yet. You can't actually click anything in here or do anything, but I could just see what, like, it might be able to look like. I'm not sure what just happened there. this is, like, over a month old now. So. . Then I said, you know, I needed some more mockups and more things. So now it created kind of this like clickable version. And again, something's happening with Claude right now, and it's not wanting to focus, but it's given me kind of an idea of what it could look like. So then I'm like, you know, I think we need to brainstorm the shape of this. I'm not quite sure you've got this right. So again, we're just going back and forth, having these conversations. Here's, that's all. That's what's happened before. I haven't actually started building anything yet. So then I, it built me this prototype. And then I was like, Oh my gosh, I love it. This is going to be so much better. I really liked the way that it came up with this and that I have this member view that y'all would see. And then I have kind of my studio version where I'm able to come in here and like, I can record thoughts and, or I can type something. And then it's going to put it into drops for you guys. It's got some reviews and what I'm going to publish and all of that. So then I was like, this is great. Where do I build this? And so it kind of talked me through 1K a day in Lovable and then, okay, so then we got to, I'm going to build this in Lovable. And this is kind of where we're picking up today, is saying that, okay, I have this build brief for Lovable of what this is, what I want it to do, and all of that. And I'm basically going to give this to Lovable. The rest of this chat was just about me marketing this watch me build session and like summarize what I'm trying to do here with this app so that I can figure out how to talk about it in emails and stuff. I wanted it to just go back through our conversation. So... For today's purposes, we're just going to get into the app build. I just kind of wanted to show you that there was some back and forth with how I got to this place. I don't think I missed anything in the chat, but I'm just going to make sure I have my chat window up. So if y'all can interact with me as we go, that would be great. Any questions just on this part of just like kind of getting to the place where I have this build brief for Lovable? Okay, I'm going to take the silence as I know. So I came over to Lovable and again, I did this back in June. I literally just said, let's see, I think June 4th is when I did this. I'm pretty sure I just pasted this entire thing into the Lovable chat. Okay. So it just started working and then it's like I gave it the full spec, this is a clear build, pick a visual direction so I'm kind of catching myself up here too on like where we left off so I think I had to answer a few questions which I did okay and then this is where we left off so I haven't even actually looked at how this got set up and what it looks like yet. I just I gave it the brief and then I stopped working on it and was like I'm gonna build this live with y'all so that's that's where we are today okay so let's see how this looks my idea is basically that you know instead of you having to get the Google Doc scroll through and find where you left off or try to figure out what's new because there's not really a way for me to like ping you guys when It's like something specific is updated. I'm sure it is confusing to find like what's new and what you need to read. So the first thing I wanted to do was like to create a diary here so that it was giving you like latest entries and things that were updated and that you could read the full entry. So you could maybe click this button or you could like listen to it. And I'm not sure I wasn't sure if this was actually going to do anything. This might just be like a prototype. But you could listen to it and it wouldn't be me reading it. I would have some sort of AI voice reading it. And that way, because it's on your phone and it's in the app, you could listen to it that way. Maybe some of y'all have seen like we we do. Oops, that's my Google calendar. I wanted to show you something else. Weak in the life. Okay. I'm at At top of our Week in the Life Diaries, we do have this Listen to this tab. And if you click this... Okay, so you can listen to the diaries in the Google Doc now. However, I was made aware that you cannot listen on mobile. And that's sort of the whole point of like when somebody would actually listen, right? So that was a big piece of what I want to build in here too, is that you can always listen or you can read. That there would be some like threads happening of things that are going on that we're catching y'all up on, like this is what's happening in the dashboard. You could comment, you could, so we could like talk about what's going And there could, you could comment and there could be a little bit more back and forth on certain things. Again, we would have like the experiments where instead of having the Google Doc, it would be something here where you could reach into this. And then again, this is all just sort of looking like prototype. This isn't real stuff. 09:24 Rachel Silves - Team KK: A quick question for you, Kate, would it be possible as we're building to give them notifications when we're like live for office hours and these watch me build calls? Because that would be really cool if it would actually like push a notification to them. 09:40 Kate Kordsmeier: Yes, exactly. I want there to be notifications. Kate just updated this diary notification and like, of course, you can turn them off if you don't want the notifications. But if you do want them, it would notify you when something is new. It would notify you, yes, when we're going live, when there's something happening. So. All So that's definitely what I want to do. We would have instead of me like taking screenshots of my Airtable dashboard and stuff, it would be synced to my Airtable so you could kind of see where we were in any given day and, you know, kind of where the revenue breakdown is coming from and whatnot. And then instead of going to Telegram and having office hours, you could drop your question here so you could put like, here's my question. And then you would hit send. And then I would come in here on the correct day and answer the questions. And it would give you like an AI summary and the transcript of my answer. And then you could easily go back through and see like what are other questions that Kate has answered recently. You can ask another all of that. So before we go any further, I'd be very curious, like what questions do you have so far? What ideas are you like? That would be awesome. What ideas are you like? I don't, I don't like that, you know? How is this all sounding to y'all as members? 11:09 Tara Kraus: You may have mentioned this. Would this replace Telegram then? 11:14 Kate Kordsmeier: Yes. 11:14 Tara Kraus: Okay, cool. I like that. 11:16 Kate Kordsmeier: This would replace everything. I think. It may not replace the Kartra portal. We might still have the portal for a few things, but then basically everything else, we would have a link in the portal to download the app. That's where everything's happening now. And so, it would, right, Tisha says it looks much more organized. me too. I like that too. Like it is, it's hard to figure out, like, how is this, how is this, what's the best way to get y'all all this information without overwhelming you or without having it be scattered in so many different places? And like, how can I give you quick updates on things and experiments and whatnot? So LaShae says, so is this going to show up as part of the regular email that comes from Beehive? No, so this would be like, this would be an app that you download on your phone, just like any other app, and you would just open the 1k a day app, and then you would be able to see all the stuff in the app, you'd be able to listen right from the app, ask questions from the app, like everything that you're currently doing across the portal. I mean, we would still have the school community, but it would be like across the portal, the Telegram channel, and the Google Docs would now all be in this one place. 12:40 Rachel Silves - Team KK: And the private podcast too, right? 12:44 Kate Kordsmeier: the private podcast, that's a good point, right? So the private podcast, I'd have to look, I need to look into that and see how do we do that. So I'm going to make some notes too, as we're going through this. 12:56 Rachel Silves - Team KK: So- And then just to ask a question to Kate, like all of the, like the replays for these, like watch me, like all the replays and content would live over still in the Karcher portal, right? 13:08 Kate Kordsmeier: . I mean, again, it's a good, it's a good question. Like I'm going to come into our Karcher portal just so we can be looking at this also to see, you know, how do we, let's see, 1k day experiment. Okay, so I think we could put the replays in the portal, but we probably can put the replays in the app just as easily. Like I'm trying to figure out, do we even need the portal anymore? Or is now everything in the app? the, the screen. So like, I think Tina, you're asking about the looms that I record when it's like, Oh, here's what I'm, you know, here's a quick screen share. . Of what I'm doing. So I think those would go like right now I put them in the Google doc diary. So I think they would still go in the diary, but the way you would access the diary wouldn't be a Google doc. It would be this app. So when you're reading the full entry, there would be like a video embed right here where you would watch those looms instead. And you could, yes, the app will exist on your desktop so you can just log into it like a regular website or you can go on your phone and you can log into it from there too. So either way, I want it to be mobile and desktop friendly. Okay, these are all really good questions. Keep them coming. I think let's like start getting into the build because that's obviously the part that's like, I'm not even totally sure what's possible and how we're going to do this. But this is what says it's built. The member side says it's built. We have a diary feed entry reader with audio scrubber threads list and stitch timeline detail revenue dashboard with seven day trend office hours form. The studio is. Okay, so the studio is where I would come. And so this would be for an example. Let's try this. Okay, so this is just a test. Right now I am on the Watch Me Build Live and I'm working on building this app and I'm getting lots of great ideas and testing this out. That did nothing. Okay, so in theory, I guess that would be like what I would have on my end is that I could come and leave voice memos and then it would transcribe it or I can type it and I could probably use something like my Whisperflow to just type out what I'm doing instead. And then I could save the fragment. I think because I'm not actually, I'm in like the preview, it's not letting me actually save things. But yes, it would. So I would have these fragments and then I would hit synthesize. And then I think that when it does that, then it would take kind of my just random brain drops and stuff and it would put It it into more of like the diary itself and then okay so then like here's right so it would put something like this in here last night's fragments were messy I was working on these things right okay and then I would hit publish and then it would publish to y'all and you would see oh there's a new update from Kate here was her diary from yesterday or whatever the debrief this is where I give my full diary to Claude normally and then I say you know debrief with me and so it would it would be able to do that I guess I see patterns you mentioned support volume eight times but you've never put it on the dashboard why is this so okay so that's kind of like How that piece would work. And then, okay, this is more insights for me to understand who's using this. Okay, right. So this is like analytics. So I can see, are people opening it? What are they reading? What are they listening to? So it would also give me information and feedback on like what's working and what's not. So that's cool. Okay. And then there's a bunch of other pages here. So like office hours. Okay. So that was just showing like that page studio debrief, right? Okay. So I think that's actually it here. All right. So back in integrations, what you need. So basically what it's saying is it built out the frame that's going to hold all of how I want this to work. And what I need to do is now actually like link the things so that it's pulling. So I think one of the first things I want to do is rebrand this so that it matches my brand and so I have this prompt that I use and it's kind of like just my design aesthetic so I'm going to drop it in here it says make the design and it kind of describes what the design is and gives it my brand color. So first I'm just going to do that and have it just kind of like reskin this whole thing. LaShae says is there a reason for a prompt versus a skill? I'm not sure if I'm following your question. Do you want to come off mute and ask? 18:53 LaShae @OMG Your Biz: Yes, so you went over and grabbed a prompt instead of having like a design skill behind the scenes for Claude. 19:00 Kate Kordsmeier: Oh, I'm not in Claude. I'm in Lovable. 19:03 LaShae @OMG Your Biz: Oh, nevermind. . I think that's where the disconnect was. 19:08 Kate Kordsmeier: Yes. I have a brand skill in Claude. That's exactly what I would do if I were in Claude. But right now I'm in Lovable. And so Lovable doesn't have Claude skills and stuff. So I just am giving this here so that I just have this prompt for places that don't have the ability for me to use my skill. But good question. Otherwise, if I was in Claude, I would definitely use my brand skill. Okay. Let's see. So while it's doing that, some things I need to do next. need to go to settings and integrations and connect my own Supabase project, not Lovable Cloud. And then tell me that I'll generate migrations for these things. So I think what I need to do is come back to my build brief. And I think I need to review it myself again to go... Wait, what am I building exactly? Because I feel like there's some things that I'm missing here now. So this is a mobile-first, members-only web app that replaces Google Docs, School, and Telegram for 1K a day. Paying members read or listen, following living threads, ongoing experiments and storylines that update whenever there's news, view an auto-updating revenue dashboard and submit office hour questions, and then I have this studio. Okay, so that part feels clear. Members are paid, but the billing is still staying inside of Cartra. The app does not take payments. The app grants access only to emails on the active member allow list synced from Cartra. Members can read or listen and follow threads. So I think probably what I'll do at a minimum is I'll have the portal, and even if we take everything out of the portal, what will be left in there will be like, here's the app. ya? Download the app here and that's where you'll use, use everything. Okay. So then some of this stuff too is like, it's, this is really techie and it's over my head. So sometimes I'm like, I don't really know what it's saying, but I like front end, React, and Tailwind. Those are just like certain ways of building things that I'm like, okay, sure. You got that. Go ahead. The Supabase project, I have done this before. So I do need to go to settings, connectors, and Supabase. So, okay. It does look like the palette has been rebranded. So that's cool. Now this is in our colors. So that looks nice. And we can kind of come along here and see. And if I want to, you know, change anything too, I can come back to that, but that's less important for now. I just kind of want to, I wanted to get the basics in there. Okay. Okay. So. So I need to go to settings. What did it say? Settings, connectors, Supabase. Okay. Settings, connectors, Supabase. So I do have a Supabase connected. Use Supabase. Yes, Tara, that is actually, Tara asked if you're watching the replay, will it be able to take away access if people leave 1K a day? That's one of my personal issues with the Google Docs as well, is that, you know, we have them password protected, but there's workarounds and whatnot. And I feel like I don't have as much control over who can actually access the content. And I think this app would give me more control. And I would have to build in a way so that it's like checking back and forth with Karchred to make sure that these are like active paying members and not people who have canceled. Okay, one's connected. Okay, so I'm going to come here and say, okay, I think I connected the Supabase. Sorry, I'm reading quietly and I'm supposed to be reading out loud. It says add secrets in Supabase. And so I would need to get those secret keys. So I'm going to say, can you instruct me on how to get the secrets from each of the places I need to put them in to Supabase? And I am confirming that the Airtable Daily Sales Tracker does not pull from Zapier, it actually runs on an automation script native to Airtable. So this is asking me to like connect a lot of things that I don't exactly know what this all means. So I am going to start there. The TTS, I'm not totally sure what that means, but I assume it's the AI voice that will read the diaries. And I'm wondering what free options exist. I do not need it to be my voice. Turn on GitHub sync from the chat's input and menu. Okay, so... Get out of here, is this? Okay, there we go. GitHub. So I've never done GitHub before. So this will be an interesting thing. Okay, in the meantime, Ashley says, you may have talked about this before, but curious why you don't use Kartra and the portal to host the diaries? one of the reasons I don't is because in Kartra, can only like, I don't feel like the portal is a great place to put a lot like long content, you know, so having just for example, like we have this, this post that is very out of date. and it's an example of like, what it would look like to have a long Google Doc in there. I mean, as you can see, this week in the life diary from this week is super long, like they, they're often like 20 to 50 pages. And so I just feel like that would be too hard. It's to read through in Kartra. Kartra also doesn't have a mobile app. And so I feel like we would lose that feature. People can't comment. Also, one of the things I like about doing it in a Google Doc is, A, it's super easy for me to input stuff, but also it's easy for me to export it and then upload the diaries elsewhere, which Kartra would make, you know, that's not as easy. I do like that they now have this listen tab and you can also create, there's a tool here where you can do audio summary. And so it will summarize the tab. This week has been all about balancing big projects. So I do kind of like that aspect of it. That's one of my fears actually of doing this app is like, shoot, what if I do it in the app and now... How am I going to get those diaries into like Notebook LM to make the podcast and into, so that'll be something that I need to like build into this and just make a note of that, like Notebook LM and Claude's ability to read the diaries, to read, but that's why I don't have it in the, in the portal. Hopefully that made sense. Okay. And I think that I turned on GitHub sync, so it should be ready there now too. To be honest, I don't really understand a lot of what you're saying to me here. So you're going to have to put this in very layman's terms. Okay. So just note too, like, I am not a developer. I don't, I've never used GitHub before. I barely understand what's super. I Sometimes I'm just sort of following what this tells me and trusting that, okay, I hope this isn't going to break something or whatever. I should probably do a little bit more research into things, and sometimes I feel like the whole point of using AI to vibe code is that I don't have to understand all this stuff, and there are a lot of security protections in Lovable. So I like that I can kind of lean on that. Okay, plain English version. Lovable cloud is on. I can see the AI gateway key. Supabase is not fully wired yet. I don't see the Supabase URL or key in your secrets. Okay, correct, because I don't know how to do the secrets. No connectors, no like what Love & Loves are like. The three secret addresses you need to copy. Supabase. So I'm going to go into Supabase and come back to Lovable. settings, secret, and add them here. Okay, so I think what I want to do also is go to, oops, settings. You guys see secrets? Because I don't. Project, owner, monitoring, category. Do you like to auto-fix security issues? I hate when the, like, the tool doesn't even know its own self. It's like, it's one thing to not know as separate tools things, but can't you know what your own thing is? And I'm going to say, when I go into lovable and settings, there is no secrets or cloud option for me to add all of the URLs you're requesting from me and the API keys. One thought. Is that because I was looking at that projects settings rather than like the entire account? No, it wasn't my entire account. There is no difference. Oh, no, actually, this does look different. Secret, cloud. So I'm just going to tell it that because that makes no sense to me. But I can go to Supabase, click project settings API, I did set up a Supabase account months ago, when I was building out a different lovable app so that's why I didn't have to set this up again, but I'm not sure that it's going to okay this project is paused even so I wonder if I have to say like new project project name would be 1k. A day, experiment, oops, app, America's data API, Tina, I don't know what any of this means, so I might have to come back in. We'll that. I had a feeling that some of this would start to get complicated and it would be like, is this interesting to watch or is this like torture, watching somebody try to figure out that they don't know what they're doing? Look at the left sidebar for project settings, click cloud tab. Okay, you guys see that? Okay. Okay. I still don't see it. Project secrets live inside your project settings cloud. something it does just takes time to work through. Fergus, don't start. Let's just click on it. Okay, in the lovable editor, look at the top left sidebar for project settings. If you see a cloud card, click it. I don't see a cloud card. Cloud tab, secrets, ad secrets. Oh my gosh. Look at that. Fascinating. Where did you come from? Okay. So this I'm saving as, I'm put the value here first, and then I'm saving this as Airtable underscore API token. Okay. Okay, great. The Airtable API token is there. Are you sure I don't need a separate Claude key? I want to use my Claude API, not Lovables AI. Okay. And then Supabase is automatically connected. Also want to confirm you have my correct Supabase project connected. Which I'm just going to copy this. Oh, maybe I need this. Supabase key. Okay. Because this said it wanted, originally it said I should save it as Supabase URL and Supabase publishable key. So let's just do that so that we, Supabase URL. Oops, this is not the URL. This is Supabase publishable key. Secret name uses the reserved prefix and cannot be created for it. Let's just copy the project. Project URL, okay, let's go to Cloud Anthropic, okay, let me get that verification code, does anybody else hate verification codes as much as I do, oh my god, makes me crazy, okay, I'm just grabbing my API key from Cloud, okay. So that is done, and now I can come here. I'm going to paste that API key, and this is going to be Anthropic API key. So I added the Anthropic API key. Airtable, new token, read, copy the token, added it. Okay, text-to-speech is how we're going to get them to read the diaries out loud. Is it possible to just use one of Anthropic or Gemini's AI voices instead? I really don't want to use a paid service that I'm not already paying for. But the current diaries use Gemini's AI voice so that people can... Listen to the tab. So it's tab, tab. All right. So hopefully we just got through the bumpy tech part. Let's come back over to this now and see what else we need to look at. So payments are staying. The app uses passwordless email login. So Tara, think you were asking about that. So it's a Supabase magic link that authorizes a login only if that email is on an active member allow list that is kept in sync from Cartra. So that's interesting. Let's add us into this. Superbase. Okay. So it's basically, it's going to fire through probably a webhook. I don't want it to use Zapier. So we'll get to that part when we get to, I'm like going to do some of that stuff last. I want to like build the app first and then figure out some of those things, but that's good to know that that's kind of how, how it's going to do that is it's going to keep a database synced between Airtable, Kartra, and Superbase. And so, people will only be able to access the app if they are active members. This is going to be, currently it says on mobile, it's add to home screen and it's going to, so I guess it's not an app. It's just like going to take you to a website that looks like an app and on desktop install. So we'll see if that's actually what ends up happening. I kind of thought it was going to be an app, but maybe not. a web app is perfect. Okay. That's good to know. It sounds like a lot of people actually prefer doing this on desktop, which I wouldn't have guessed. So that's very helpful. Weekly synthesis, office hours, answers, summaries, and the private debrief. Okay, great. So this is all kind of what we were just talking about. These are sort of data models. Again, this is where I'm like, okay, sounds good, whatever. I just tell everything in human language. Like I want to be able to, you know, get, receive a question and have my, and hit a voice record memo, and then have it automatically provide an AI summary of what I just said. So I know that that's what I want, how it gets. It's there. I don't know. I don't care. Just make it happen. So right. Okay. Right now we're building the shell and the access gate. Interesting. Then we're going to build the entries in reader, capture and review. Data is exportable. So maybe that was what I was thinking about when I was like, I need to be able to export the diaries. Review allows editing prose and retagging threads. Synthesis must sound like Kate. It has to include my brand voice guide. Access never depends on the sync alone. Okay, blah, blah, blah. Okay, cool. So let's see where we are over here. You're right to want your own. Of course I'm right. It always tells you that, right? No matter what you say, AI is always like, you're right. You're the smartest ever. Since you added Anthropic, I'll wire the app to call Claude directly instead of Lovable AI. I'll pay Anthropic directly for usage. That's great. Instead of Lovable. Perfect. Like, these were not just, like, short messages where I just, like, had Claude build. I really had a sense of what I wanted and then was brainstorming with Claude, is this going to be good? Are there other ways I could do this? What have I not thought of? So we create this plan, I give this plan to Lovable, Lovable starts building the shell and all of the things for it, and then I have to set up all the API keys and all the tech so that it can use all these different tools. And now that's kind of where we're at now. But that's kind of been the process so far. So, so far, I mean, it was tedious and pretty annoying with some of those API things now. But overall, mean, pretty, pretty easy, right? I haven't had to build or code anything myself yet. So let's come back over here to the app. Okay, do that. So right now, when you go to 1K Day Diaries, there's, this is sort of like the hub of all the diaries, right? And we have all of the Week in the Life's here. So you can see like July's is happening now. And then I do come in here. so like the document tabs, I really try to keep as organized as possible. And so like you can come down here to the most recent one. And these are just sort of like the little quick weekly updates that I post in here. These aren't like full Week in the Life Diaries. Then I have like this weekly dashboard. And again, if you drop down the tabs, you can see that like I've been logging. Okay, here's how much we've been making on average now. So I started doing these just once a month instead. That's been, I think, more helpful. And then we have some things I haven't, you know, these are just like things that are coming, but I added all these different tabs of like other things I wanted to be sharing. And then I personally have even found it hard. Like we have our ads diaries tab. That's one that I've kept probably the most active. Again, it's really long. Like we have 31 pages of updates in here. If you don't just come in and check and like scroll to the bottom and scroll back up to see where you left off, you know, you don't know when there's an update. So one thing I was hoping is that with this app, when I come in and I'm like, I'm giving you an update on my ads experiments, that it would then send out a notification and be like new ads update from Kate. So I agree. It's definitely not a perfect system. And I am 100% open to suggestions. Even if it's not this app idea, I just think. Generally, like, I am a big reader, I prefer reading. And then that's why I then I like having the like, private podcast feed where we're just kind of summarizing what was in it. Or if you want to, you know, turn on your computer, open it up while you're doing laundry or whatever, and hit listen to this tab, you could do that as well. But I know not everybody likes reading. And so I just kind of want to be able to appeal to both kinds of people. We got a few people who are like, I love being able to listen, but you can't do it on mobile. And that made me be like, oh, shoot, that is a big loss there. I need to be able to figure that out. So that's kind of where where I'm at. Diaries feed pulls three real entries, the newest first, obviously. just gave it three random diaries. Tap any entry, full reader with markdown formatting. Okay, so let's go to dashboard. So this is where I would then come and say like, okay, I'm testing this. The first thing that I noticed is when I click on. The most recent diary entry, and to listen, it doesn't do anything. It doesn't give me an error message, but it doesn't play anything either. seems to not go through. Here we go. Okay. And then I think these are fake, right? Personalized Loom intros convert to X better. this was, this was already here. So that was still okay. Just kidding. Then I did get this error message. Then when I clicked the second diary, it did allow me to click the play button, but I got this error message. So basically my process is to just go and start testing it and then come back and say, this worked, this didn't. So now even we could just come here and see, okay, what does this diary look like in this format? So it's still, it has all of my links in here still. My chart did not really translate as the word I think I'm looking for. So the, so I might say that I might take a screenshot of this and say, I also noticed that my charts that were included in the diaries did not translate and the formatting is all wonky. Okay. I'm just kind of like generally scrolling to see what's. What this looks like. Total revenue. Okay, so it's, again, it's very long. How does this look? Tara says she loves the dashboard look. How do you like it compared to reading in a Google Doc? I think that is definitely an interesting idea. I also feel like I want to say, I'm just going to say this out loud to Whisperflow. One other thing I'm thinking is that the diaries are really long. And in Google Docs, we can separate things out with outline tabs and things like that in the sidebar. But we can't really do that here. So I wonder if there's a way to kind of chunk the diaries down by day or heading or something so that it is a little bit easier to navigate rather than just looking at a giant page that scrolls on forever with tons of text. Okay, so that was another thought. And then Ashley says you like to be able to zoom in when you read. So this is me zooming in and it does not get fuzzy. It actually looks really clear to me. I'm not sure exactly how it might look since I'm sharing my screen to you, but I do agree the column is small overall. . Okay, so let's say this. So some navigation would definitely be helpful on the long diaries. And then the second thing I'm thinking about is... Making the column width on the desktop view wider so that it doesn't scroll for as long and they can see more text in the width of the screen. Ashley says she personally loves the archive as a new member, soaking it up gives lots of context, pretty lost and current. Oh, that's interesting. I really struggle with that too, Ashley, as you're saying that, like writing sometimes, I feel like I don't want to repeat myself for the new, or for the existing members, where it's like I'm re-explaining things I explained last month or previously, but I do think about like new members coming in and thinking like, oh, should we, should I set this up differently or should I have like more explanation or that kind of thing. And, you know, like, this is just having some connection between things instead of everything kind of living in silos. I don't know, something more holistic, as I guess what I'm thinking. Okay, so we're gonna, oh, maybe it's gonna give it, it's gonna give it that. The other piece of this is that I had been thinking a lot about, like, does this format make sense, where, like, sometimes there are things that I just want to tell you guys throughout the week. Sometimes there are things that I want to tell you in the moment. Sometimes it's like, oh, I need to do an entire debrief on this one particular thing. And it's just kind of hard to get that all done in the current diary format. I'm sorry, I'm, like, reading. I at the same time as I'm trying to talk, and I can't do that at the same time. Okay, let me pause for a second. I'm trying to figure out like what's the cadence that you guys would actually want updates? Like is it more helpful to get little updates ongoing kind of like randomly forever? Do you prefer the full week in the life diary where I'm like in there documenting every single thing? I'm trying to figure out kind of the cadence. And so I was feeling like maybe these kind of random drops and the ability to just capture things quickly, and then have it live in this app that sort of organizes it all and alerts people and whatever, would help with that instead of having like this Google Doc that gets randomly updated and it's hard to find things. So this looks like the Delegator's High. That is a very good title for this. Kids in Savannah, quad building my lunch, housekeeper organizing my pantry. When did I become the woman who just says, yes, this, no, that? sideline. gonna to that Let's go back. So So this basically just took what I wrote in the diary so far for Monday through 4.30 and kind of synthesized it. So if I hit publish on this, what y'all would see is you would get an alert that says there's a new entry, and then you could, in theory, you should be able to click play. So you could listen to the entry or you could read the full entry. Ooh, something's happening. Okay. But it just gives you the entry here. So maybe there are times... so this is sort of AI almost like summarizing what I said, rather than just giving you exactly what I said. So, A, I'm curious, do you like that? Or would it feel better to just get my regular diary? So maybe there's an option for me when I'm in the studio to either publish this as is, or kind of synthesize a few random things that are happening into something cohesive. And then at the end, if you're like, oh, this is interesting, you can drop it here and you can ask me a question. This is a test question about delegating. And then you could put like your name here. Okay. The AI's version is long. It's actually shorter, though, than what I had written. I think it's actually a lot shorter than what I had actually written. So that's interesting. And this seems to not be doing anything. . Should be better structured and formatted then. I agree. Okay. So this is really helpful. Like if it's going to synthesize, it needs to be more formatted and not just this like long block of text. And if it's not going to, otherwise, it can just be exactly what I've pasted.
