For your Weekly competitor intel, how did you choose the competitors you want to keep up with?
Kate's answer
Kate's take, in a sentence or two
Kate explained that she doesn't really believe in "competitor" analysis in the traditional sense, but instead uses Claude to scrape the internet weekly for what people in her space (and the AI space) are doing—covering things like new tools, offers, and industry news from people she admires (like Tarzan Kay and Laura Belgray) as well as bigger players she doesn't consider true competitors (like Amy Porterfield). She got the idea from Gemma Bonham Carter's training and had Claude generate an initial list of competitors, then customized it to focus on what's actually relevant to her. She likes having this pulse on the industry without being on social media or in her inbox constantly, though she's finding the weekly report is a lot and may switch to a monthly high-level overview instead.
