Where are most of your new leads coming from right now since your FB ads aren’t as effective as they used to be? You said you were trying to track leads and where people are coming from have you noticed any trends so far about lead quality from certain collabs or interviews or ads?
Kate's answer
Kate's take, in a sentence or two
Kate says her Facebook ads are still bringing in leads well but the ROAS on the back end has dropped significantly—from around 2x last year to roughly breaking even now, so she's essentially getting leads for free even if sales aren't great. Beyond ads, her main lead sources have been sponsoring other people's summits (like Gemma's AI Unlocked and Monica Froze's AI Exposed), ongoing bundles/summits participation, and JV collabs (upcoming with Jenna Kutcher and Gemma Bonham Carter, past ones with Tara Reid, Allison Hardy, and Natalie Gingrich). When she dug into the numbers for the AI Unlocked sponsorship specifically, she found a cost per lead around $6.93 after accounting for a 24% unsubscribe rate—which feels okay but not great—and she's only about 40% of the way to breaking even three weeks in, so she wants to keep tracking performance over 30/90/180 days before drawing conclusions about whether sponsorships are a better use of her time and money than running ads directly.
