How did you decide to have a goal of $1k/day in profit? That seems like a big goal and I’m wondering if you actually need that number financially or if it was just the next step that seemed logical. I think most of us here want the calm business that runs mostly on evergreen without social media and with high profit. Seeing you maintain $1k/day in sales with a boring business is actually very inspirational. Howver, seeing you try to get to this new level actually feels a little bit stressful to me.😂🤪 So I’m wondering what your actual financial goal is for your business and if this was just an arbitrary goal or if this is a financial goal that you actually want for you and your family. ❤️

Kate said hitting $1k/day wasn't stressful because it felt like a fun goal, though she did feel stressed earlier this year when she kept messing up restarting her ads. She'd be genuinely happy just maintaining $365k/year, but as an Enneagram three "achiever," she needs bigger goals to stay engaged, so she and Rachel set a $500k/profit target that would let her pay herself and Rachel well while keeping overhead low. She admits some of this is tied to old mental baggage about revenue (having once been close to 7-figures and feeling like she's "gone backwards" since), but stresses $500k isn't arbitrary—it's a stretch goal she feels genuinely excited and close to reaching without sacrificing her life for it.
