01 · The question
3. for ads - last week you had talked about on the call that once a month you look at customer value for meta ads folks (people tagged that came in from ads) - where are you going exactly in kartra - I tried to find it but couldn't - you had said “i go to the people who’ve opted into the form - then look at ACV" - but where IS that ACV? and maybe you could speak to again how that's your north star of whether ads have a postive ROA or not. thanks!

Kate's take, in a sentence or two
Kate explains that in Kartra, you can filter contacts by the form your ad sends traffic to, then check the "customer value" column to see the total value for those leads—averaging that gives you the average customer value. This is her north star for measuring ROAS: she compares total ad spend (like $13,000 on ads for her free challenge) against the total customer value of everyone who opted in through that ad. For a shorter-term view, she checks sales analytics to see tripwire, bump, and upsell purchases over the last seven days and compares that total against what Facebook reports she spent.
