Kate explained that the group formed when she and Sage Grayson wanted a more focused mastermind, and after reaching out to Steph Blake, they discovered Destiny Cop was building a similar group, so they merged efforts—starting with about 14 people, then narrowing down to eight or nine committed members who could attend 75% of weekly calls. Over the past year they've met weekly with a structured format (agendas, hosts, accountability), checking in quarterly on logistics, and gradually added new members like Jordan Gill, Dama Ju, Jodi Bourne, and Monica Froze through a democratic, no-single-leader process. She emphasized that she intentionally designed the group to avoid the lack of structure and accountability she'd seen fizzle out other masterminds, prioritizing people who could genuinely collaborate on podcasts, events, and promotions together.
