01 · The question

What are the things you regularly measure (KPI’s) to find out where your customers are coming from? What tools/software do you need in order to do this? (Example, GA4? Tagging in Many Chat?)

Kate's take, in a sentence or two

Kate tracks site traffic mainly with Fathom Analytics (she dislikes Google Analytics/GA4), but her real focus is on leads and sales data pulled from Kartra and Beehive into Airtable, which serves as her central hub. She uses Claude to build dashboards from that Airtable data—covering membership retention/churn, daily sales, email performance by lead cohort, and even ad campaign metrics via the Meta MCP—since Claude does this better than Airtable's own interfaces. Her one big caveat is that AI-generated data isn't always accurate, so she cross-checks numbers herself and cautions that people need to "know their numbers" well enough to catch the errors, since AI states things with false certainty.
