01 · The question

Hi Kate- I noticed you don’t include the detail (table of content only accessible once inside the course) of the course and I am wondering if it’s because of how easy it is for AI to scrape all the content off of websites for other people to then do competitive analysis and/or take ideas? Because of this I’m wondering how much detail I should include about coaching programs I am working on- potential diagnostic tools, Frameworks, etc. I guess my point is how is AI changing the game for what to share publicly vs privately ?

Kate's take, in a sentence or two

Kate says this has never really occurred to her as a concern, because she believes ideas are cheap—what actually makes something valuable is the execution behind the paywall, which AI scraping can't replicate. The main reason she sometimes skips a table of contents isn't protective at all, but a copywriting choice: people buy results and transformation, not a feature list, so she'd rather highlight outcomes than spell out exactly how the product works. She sees this kind of fear as something that just holds people back from putting things out into the world, and says it shouldn't stop anyone from moving forward.
