There’s a lot of talk about courses and high ticket programs being hard(er) to sell right now. What’s your take on this?

Kate's take, in a sentence or two

Kate says her answer to "are courses harder to sell right now" is basically "says who, and does it matter?" She shares that when her business struggled in 2022-2023, she found some friends were also struggling while others were having their best years ever—and later those roles reversed—which taught her that looking around to see if others share your struggle isn't that useful since you'll always find people doing better, worse, and the same. She does think high-ticket courses (over $1,000) with zero support are harder to sell now because of AI and people not wanting to be left to figure things out alone, but she notes exceptions (like a friend selling a $2,500 no-support course successfully) and that people are adapting by adding more support and charging more. Her ultimate takeaway is to ask yourself what knowing the answer would actually do for you, and otherwise just put your blinders on, do your own thing, and experiment.
