I know you said you’re using HTML pub to publish pages directly from Claude. How does that work with SEO? Are you still able to optimize those pages or you just don’t worry about it? I’ve also noticed you’ve been putting artifacts from Claude on these pages. How does that work? And are you paying anything with Claude to embedded artifacts on these pages?

Kate's take, in a sentence or two

Kate says HTML Pub lets her edit meta descriptions and SEO titles, and she can run pages through her SEO/GEO skill, but she's never focused much on optimizing sales/opt-in pages for SEO since people typically find her through individual blog posts answering specific questions, not by searching for her offers directly—so she optimizes blog posts to get people onto her email list instead. On the Claude artifacts question, she explains it depends on the tool's purpose: interactive tools with no output (like her sales playbook) get hosted on her own site via HTML Pub to protect her IP and avoid needing an API; tools that generate output require choosing between using her own API key (with usage-cost risk), having users input their own API key (as with her editorial calendar), or hosting directly on Claude (her least preferred option since others could remix/resell content trained on her IP). She's leaning toward using her own API and monitoring token costs going forward, and plans to watch support tickets and usage patterns from her MBA 2.0 tools to iterate on this approach.
